Re: Need nasal pillows recommendations

Maybe Nova Micro? Not over the head though. And of course there is the P10. And solo pillow version too. Dreamwear/P30i might work for you as well. If your supplier allows returns, suppose try one, and if no good, return? Out of the bunch, I guess the micro might be closest to what you want, small h...

Re: CPAP Supplier Staffed by Real People?

I switched from my original supplier to Aeroflow, and so far, so good. A bit of confusion at first as to what I was eligible for, but the reps seem friendly and helpful, and it's pretty easy to order new supplies. Can't say how they compare to others, but they are a ton better than my first supplier...

Re: The Great Pillow/cushion/whatever Exchange/Swapping thread Part II

Assume it's okay to post requests here, but I'm looking for a Airfit N30 (not the N30i) medium cushion if anyone has spares. Probably could swap something from one of my other masks (smalls, for instance) ... or a chin strap, or something spare I have here.

Thanks.

Re: Free masks for shipping costs - (N20, F20, F30i)

Just bumping this, as nobody took me up on the initial post. Feel free to just say you want the entire bunch ... easier for me to ship that way too. And although there are some missing parts, I think all of the masks can be at least tried, by stealing parts from the other ones. There is also a N30i ...

Why are the pillows in the nasal mask called pillows?
Assume it's because it sounds better than nasal plugs/prongs? Or nasal stabbers?

Cushions actually seem closer to 'pillows' to me, as they tend to be pretty soft. But they can't call everything pillows.

Re: The new F & P Solo nasal pillow mask & F & P Nova Micro mask

Wonder if maybe we could add a diffuser to the vent holes without actually fully blocking the vented air because we don't want to totally block that venting..... it is something we did when the original Bleep (with the dreamports) came out and it didn't have any diffusing either and it was a major ...

Re: The new F & P Solo nasal pillow mask & F & P Nova Micro mask

Tried the Micro the last two nights again, this time using large. I'm not sure if they simply run small or are designed differently on purpose -- that is, if they are supposed to rest inside the nostrils vs mostly outside like most other pillow masks. Small seems too small for me, all squished up......

My 2 month compliance appt

Had my first compliance appt. today with my ENT and it went pretty much as planned. Nurse asked me if I thought cpap was helping, and I said "Yes, but that I also knew it was my compliance review" -- she replied back "Smart answer." Talked to my doc a little bit, he asked if I thought it was helping...

Re: Dreaming and CPAP

Hello everyone, I am new here and have been using cpap for 16 years and I had wondered if anyone else experiences lack of dreaming or I should say waking up with no memory of a dream? My sleep doctor said to me that was a good thing, because I am sleeping soundly and not remembering any dreams? Tha...

Re: Free masks for shipping costs - (N20, F20, F30i)

I just wanted to mention that the above masks are still available.

I also have an N30i I can include, although, like the above, it has a little bit of a fragrance.

Re: ResMed N30 "Seal" Problems

Those parts are replaced regularly. You said the mask was two years old. So no, it's not replaced regularly. For over two years, my ResMed N30 was great. I assume they have been using the N30 for 2 years, and replacing the parts (as stated) ... not that they was using a 2 year old mask. I have a N3...

Re: used aircurve 10 smells like cigarette smoke

i purchased a very lightly used aircurve 10 (300 hours), but when i checked it at the place i got it, i only turned it on for a few seconds to see if it was noisy. i got it home and hooked it up to use, but when i turned it on, i got the distinct smell of cigarette smoke from the machine. i didn't ...

Re: first night with cpap a total failure - what now?

I'll also mention that if for some odd reason your supplier won't provide you with a different mask, and if you want to try a nasal, I have some extras that pugsy sent me to try out (being newish here too myself). I'll check the sizes again, most seem small, but maybe you'd want to try one... just P...

Re: first night with cpap a total failure - what now?

Night four report: I went to bed - with mask - at 10:30 and spent the next four hours lying in bed wide awake, every muscle tight and every nerve tense, because I _need_ to be functional at work today, but sleeping was absolutely out of the question as long as that damned wind was blowing up my fac...

Re: first night with cpap a total failure - what now?

Another tip for reading, besides just a regular book as has been mentioned, might be a kindle paperwhite? I assume they are still ambient light ... I have an old one and it's more like a book than a blue-light eyeblasting device. And as noted, make sure you really need the full face mask. I'm pretty...
