Can I tell from the OSCAR's data which CA are real and which are arousals?
Also, these "post arousal flags" are harmless events that show I am in the process of waking up and not deep sleeping? Can I read more somewhere?

Thank you, to be sure you mean my case is similar? Most of my central apnea events are arousal related?
Also if I switch to a rental Lowenstein machine it could read the cental apneas more accurately?

The first step is to look at the breakdown of the AHI into O and CA. Harmless transitional apneas are often reported as CA. O is not affected as much. Thanks, I suffer from CA and hypopneas only. Here's why I will hazard that guess: It is not uncommon for wakeful breathing patterns to be mistaken by our machines for sleep disordered breathing patterns, and depending on whether our epiglottis closes, those normal pauses in wakeful breathing can be mislabeled as OAs.
