Re: Ambien halved my residual AHI (4-7 >> 2-3)

Thank you for your feedback.
Can I tell from the OSCAR's data which CA are real and which are arousals?
Also, these "post arousal flags" are harmless events that show I am in the process of waking up and not deep sleeping? Can I read more somewhere?

Re: Ambien halved my residual AHI (4-7 >> 2-3)

Thank you, to be sure you mean my case is similar? Most of my central apnea events are arousal related?

Also if I switch to a rental Lowenstein machine it could read the cental apneas more accurately?

Thank you

My AHI without CPAP is 35 without any OA. I Post yesterday's night screenshot and Tuesday's screenshot,...

Re: Ambien halved my residual AHI (4-7 >> 2-3)

Here's why I will hazard that guess: It is not uncommon for wakeful breathing patterns to be mistaken by our machines for sleep disordered breathing patterns, and depending on whether our epiglottis closes, those normal pauses in wakeful breathing can be mislabeled as OAs. My thoughts as well. I to...
