Re: Mask for Small Head

The full faces she tried so far is the old Quattro, F&P Amara, and now the F20 full face. She isnt having a headgear issue. The problem is the bottom of the mask isnt fitting in that valley between the lower lip and chin where it probably should, but rather way lower on her chin, and least bit of mo...

Mask for Small Head

My wife started on Cpap about a year ago and hasn't quite found the right mask yet. Her therapy was working great with a nasal mask but she tends to open her mouth and the air coming out is loud and disturbs moi. It doesnt show up as leaks and her numbers are great. Tried a few full faces but she ha...

Re: Unclassified Apneas

I'm curious, Pugsy, how can you tell he's not asleep? By the shape of the breaths in the flow rate graph. Asleep breathing is very smooth, rhythmic and doesn't vary. Awake/arousal breathing is very irregular when compared to asleep breathing. Easy to spot most of the time. We don't take big gulps o...

Re: leaks! mask liners?

I just went thru a large leak issue with Vitera when I started using it a week or so ago. Large leak time 60-75% of the night. Bipap at 15/19. Completely solved by letting the top strap out as far as it can go and hunkering the bottom strap down ice and tight. Last night I experimented with my origi...

Any idea what these really are?
Sure do!

But first you have to answer me this:

How many fingers am I holding up?
Not sure, but I am holding up one..
Why don't you just say "go fuck yourself"?
That would be about as useful as asking me to guess how many fingers you are holding up..

Re: Unclassified Apneas

Thanks for the reply. Yes to large leak. Because of the fit, it had large leak 69.57% of the session. But i am pretty sure I was asleep. At same instance, I had an oxygen desaturation to 88%. I could be wrong.

Unclassified Apneas

Using an Aircurve 10 in Vauto mode, currently set min-15.4/Max 25.0 with PS of 4. First night set at this pressure. Mask is F&P Vitera. Because I am going thru a Bell's Palsy episode, I am wearing moisturing goggles and wearing a chin strap with the mask over it. Those are things I'd never normally ...
