Re: AHI 0.0 9 nights in a row.. is this a malfunction?

You want to see apneas in your report? Turn the machine mode to CPAP and the pressure to 4.0. lol! i understand you've been here since 2012 but please remember i am only two months into this whole journey. i want to make sure there's nothing wrong with the machine as I've read before about it getti...

Re: AHI 0.0 8 nights in a row.. is this a malfunction?

Nothing in the charts looks "stuck" to me. Your machine is recording flow limitations, and responding to them by raising the pressure. Your machine is recording snores, and responding to them by raising the pressure. Your machine is recording a changing flow rate, and you can see the flow change wh...

Sadly yes, multiple times, sometimes unplugged for the entire day with no luck

AHI 0.0 9 nights in a row.. is this a malfunction?

I have a slight concern re: my Airsense 10. Last night marked the 9th night in a row that my arousals have been 0.0. A couple days of this striked me as odd / unusual, but 9 days seems next to impossible (I think?!). I was recently diagnosed (AHI of 16.7) and I started treatment 2 months ago - I now...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

I will be ceasing supplementation immediately lol. Lots of us taking magnesium citrate/etc... that's a good one. Zinc? Not sure on that. I've always taken magnesium glycinate at night to sleep :) I was just trying Zinc out to help with my immune system because I've been getting sick a lot lately

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

I wonder if higher pressures just aren't the right fit for me - is that a thing? If you can't tolerate it, that's determinate. Your machine was taking you there before, you were just asleep. Post another SHQ! Have fun in EU, been a while for me. well. taking into consideration how my sleep was bett...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

At 6.2, you don't get the full benefit of your EPR for some of the time. That's because the lowest pressure the machine can deliver is 4. So for consistent EPR of 3, your minimum needs to be at least 7. If you want to try an experiment, you could also set your maximum to 7, which would eliminate pr...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

(snip) I don't know much about EPR - is this something i should consider increasing? You're at max! It's a comfort setting that can affect your therapy in different ways depending on your pressures. At lower pressures it tends to blow off too much CO2, reducing your breath-drive... at higher pressu...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

thank you! curious if you see anything abnormal about my data / that could be causing waking up a lot? Waking up frequently on CPAP is normal until you get used to it. Im about 6 weeks in and I sleep much better because im starting to sleep for longer stretches throughout the night. I too had sleep...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

went to a sleep clinic (Sleep Theurapetics) and did a take home test. I had an absolutely horrendous sleep/issues setting things up - AHI was 13. We decided I'd take the test back home for the weekend to try again as she figured my arousals were probably worse if I was awake a lot during the initial...

Re: New to Oscar - hoping someone can help analyze my data

thank you for educating me / helping me out! apologies I missed the medication question. I am on prescribed 0 medications, I do take 2 magnesium and 1 probiotic every night which I've been doing for months (never caused any issues). The waking up throughout the night has started since CPAP treatment...
