Re: ResMed BiPAP "out of sync" with a gap in pressure data

SHQ recorded two 'sessions'... but the Ramp feature kept going during the missing period... the machine was definitely not 'off'. The breaths look pretty feeble before the break... then they pick up after. Perhaps S/T mode kicked in and SHQ doesn't know how to process that? On my Aircurve the machin...

Re: Is this a current thread?

BTW: I learned about COVER ROLL STRETCH tape from "lanky lefty" on youtube--just search that name with "apnea" on youtube to find a lot of useful and funny (imo) vids about cpap. Not sure if he hangs out here. Never heard of 'im. (smirk) Unfortunately the 'two roll deal' on Amazon is now backed up ...

Re: Wrong Usage Time

There's an internal clock you can set... you may have to Erase Data to do that, All ResMed machines prior to the AirSense/AirCurve 11 models have a clock that the user can set and it does NOT require a date erasure of the machine to accomplish. Why did I have to Erase Data in order to 'fall back' t...

Re: Airsense 10 power supply odd behavior going from 120V to 240V and back

The power supply is a 'switch-mode' that takes either voltage... it does not remember the last voltage, it just works with what it gets.

I suspect a cable problem, like where the cord plugs into the brick. Cram it in there tightly!

Re: Wrong Usage Time

There's an internal clock you can set... you may have to Erase Data to do that, depending on if you want to advance it (no problem) or retard it (hates that!). The deal is that it's got data stored in microprocessor memory that conflicts with setting the time backward... the old overlapping time pro...

I think I'll get the one you have when I get paid Monday. Thank you so much!
You're quite welcome! Just remember to turn off the beep warning, hard to sleep through that! The fan does come on after a few seconds but not that bad. APC is a good brand.

Re: Last Night Was First Night

No. You can try turning down EPR, but they're negligible. It all looks good, you're set. If you're worried about power, get a computer UPS... they're great for your computer anyway (if you have a desktop), I have an APC XS-1300 upstairs in my bedroom and all my electronics (including alarm clock) a...

Re: New CPAP User. Huge Spike in AHI (<100) after 5 nights.

Thanks again for your time. Let me know if anyone has additional insights or ideas. Otherwise, I will post more data as I collect it. Zoom into the awake breathing... say, at the very beginning of your session. Does it really look like that? Are you really breathing in that uneven way, normally? Th...

Is this your first machine? That's great! Do you happen to know your settings? If you fill out your personal profile we can see what mask and machine you're running without asking... see mine below.

Re: Switch to a used AirCurve 10 (Luna G3 & minor insurance tirade)

... To get me a new machine my doctor had me tested again and saw I needed a Bilevel (BiPap) machine, so I got a Luna G3. So you have a Luna G3 BPAP 25A or 30VT? There are several models, not all bi-level. In order for a smooth transition to take place, what are the best cleaning requirements/proto...

Re: I can't import data from Airsense 11 (newest model) after using Oscar for the first time

Anyway, I downloaded the program today and while the SD card shows up on my PC under "devices and printers", it doesn't show up as storage drive D in my file explorer or on Oscar. This has to be fixed before you can use the SD reader. What model of computer? What OS? What model of SD reader? If the...

So no, you're statement about him not being liked here is a complete fabrication.
'Scam down by the river'? Yeah... right. Blow me.

Pugsy claimed I thought he 'walked on water'. There's a big contingent of APAP freaks on here that disagree with Jason's theories. You know this.

Re: Last Night Was First Night

How big of a deal are minor leaks? I'll lie down on my stomach and hear a slight leak coming out of the side of the mask but it doesn't seem to flag anything. I forgot to put my sd card in last night so I can't see the data but the "myair" app says it had a good seal all night. I'm still not feelin...

Re: Struggling after switching to APAP from CPAP

You will find other opinions here, but I'm not a fan of APAP... it's useful for determining your good pressure... after finding it, I believe folks do better when switched to CPAP at that pressure. I was originally titrated to 10cm in 2011... stayed there for a decade, then started getting involved ...
