Re: HIgh RDI, low AHI, Seeking Guidance (I feel really bad)
https://imgur.com/a/5D2BXHV Not sure why but the original image on the post gives me a 404 error so I am posting the link again. I'd try a night of straight 8cm CPAP EPR 2 and see how it goes... it looks like the FL's piss off the pressure, which brings on the CA's. Also SleepHQ is better for shari...

It *does* look better! I'd keep working it up as you can... I expect the CA's to disappear, we'll see.Airyhead wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 1:46 pmSorry vandownbytheriver, somehow I copied the wrong link. Here's this mornings data. https://sleephq.com/public/368e5ff6-a70 ... f41affaa31

Re: Mouth Tape?
I just got the SomnoSeal fit pack... which contains two sizes. I'm going to try the Small size, the other is Medium and the Small seems to work for me. It is a silicone piece that goes between teeth and lips... should only take a small piece of tape (included) to fix the lips in place. I'm hoping th...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Well, interesting night. I increased both IPAP and EPAP by 1cm and decreased humidity to level 6. Rain-out was mostly resolved but minor leaks were bothersome all night. Gross parameters didn't change much, but waveform tops looked smooth and exhalation support looked better. Most remarkable to me ...

Re: Unable to fall asleep with CPAP
The tech is at a loss now too we tried EPR off with slightly lower overall pressure. He wants to try "constant pressure" (no ramp up) next to see if that might not be it, followed by a prescription of sleeping pills. I'm starting to get skeptical. I was just thinking it might be Auto Ramp that gets...

Re: Past Pest back to bother you again
Thank you Sir- I have been busier than my foggy brain can cope with. Got my 60th class reunion end of week and as I have/had a signshop I was asked to do the signage. Have not done this stuff for 5 years and between rusty and foggy and stressed out, it is going as expected... Unfortunately you must...

Re: OSCAR missing data?
Now I installed sleep HQ and started upload from SD card but its stuck on th 27% mark for half an hour! How long does it usually take? Its just few days of data, is this normal or something went wrong? Hopefully you've restarted it by now, six hours later. I don't normally have upload problems, but...

Re: OSCAR Question About Pressure
See the gnomon at upper right? It says one is EPAP, one is Pressure. Helpful? Not so much!
Looks like you have EPR 2 turned on... that's all it is. On my Aircurve it just has one straight line all the way across, they don't even bother with EPAP.

I was curious about the HumidX discs so I googled... and read this: Designed to provide comfortable therapy while at home or while traveling. When you exhale, heat and moisture is captured and stored within the HME's tiny paper ridges. When you inhale, this heat and moisture is released to humidify ...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
I believe you're on the right road... the more you increase your pressures the less the differential will cause CA due to stripping CO2 if you keep the same differential. You appear to respond better to the bi-level algorithm than the EPR algorithm. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Meant to say PS=2. Should have read IPAP=11 EPAP=9. OK... that makes more sense. Still, bi-level gives better support than EPR IMO... when I was using EPR I'd feel my palate slap hard when supine during the breath transition to exhale. Even though I'm on more differential it's better because a) the...

Re: AirCurve 11s are in But
So the question is when did the air sense 11 come out and how similar is it to the AirCurve 11? It is my understanding that, just like the 10 series, the 11 series' distinction is the firmware only. Same exact computer hardware, motor, heater, plastic case... the only difference is what is flashed ...

Re: Kind of scared, split sleep study again after almost 20 years on PAP
My goal with this new sleep center honestly is to work on all the other “Not Sleep Apnea” sleep issues I still have, and while I’m at it, a script and order for a new machine [maybe an AirCurve 11, let me know if this is a bad idea, seams like I should just get a brand new Air Curve 10 as the 11 do...
