Re: I can't import data from Airsense 11 (newest model) after using Oscar for the first time
Anyway, I downloaded the program today and while the SD card shows up on my PC under "devices and printers", it doesn't show up as storage drive D in my file explorer or on Oscar. This has to be fixed before you can use the SD reader. What model of computer? What OS? What model of SD reader? If the...

Re: I can't import data from Airsense 11 (newest model) after using Oscar for the first time
Thanks for the tip! I forgot that just because the machine says that there's an air leak doesn't mean that it was actually leaking that much or that it was that bad. The odd thing is that according to the machine, it says "your mask seal was great last night." So that's a little confusing informatio...

I can't import data from Airsense 11 (newest model) after using Oscar for the first time
Ok so someone on this forum regarding questions about air leaks told me to look further into the data using Oscar because I replaced the head straps and mask, and cleaned all the equipment that can be cleaned. I use the F20 mask because sadly my face is a little too small for the other model. Anyway...

Re: My CPAP mask keeps experiencing air leaks and I don't know what else to do.
Ok so I had to look at the stats on the machine and the machine says that I had a good mask seal. I did notice a few times I woke up during the night. Was that if my head began dropping down then I would experience an air leak. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to combat this? I can't really t...

Re: My CPAP mask keeps experiencing air leaks and I don't know what else to do.
***Note*** air leakage according to the app is 7/20 where as prior to replacing my head gear, it was 15/20. Now the air leakage is 7/20 so I think maybe I'm just moving the mask out of place in my sleep now? The leakage numbers in MyAir are basically meaningless in terms of helping fix a leak probl...

I know how to adjust the mask, it's pretty basic. I think the problem is when I'm sleeping. But it's only been an issue this week.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 4:53 pmWatch some videos on YouTube about fitting and adjusting that model.

My CPAP mask keeps experiencing air leaks and I don't know what else to do.
Hi everyone, Recently, my mask has been experiencing air leaks according to the myAir app. The thing is, I don't know what else to do to fix the problem. I've replaced my mask because it looked worn last week, just bought new headgear and swapped it out last night, I even cleaned the mask and all th...

CPAP machine says I only use it for 2-3 hours when I'm working graveyard shifts?
Hello, I'm a shift worker who works 12 hour days that rotate between early mornings and graveyards once a week. To give you an idea, I work 4 day shifts from 5am to 5pm one week with 4 days off, and 3 night shifts from 5pm to 5am the following week with only 3 days off. Whenever I'm on nights, my CP...

Re: Anyone else use the Airtouch F20 foam mask? How often do you actually replace it?
The guy that runs the DME that I used to use (until they refused to supply the Bleep for me) uses cpap and the F20 AirTouch.....he told me he could get 3 months out of the cushion with common sense care. I wouldn't put too much faith in what ResMed says about it...they also tell you to replace the ...

Re: Anyone else use the Airtouch F20 foam mask? How often do you actually replace it?
I gave up on the memory foam, despite its advantages. The cushion used to split at the bridge of the nose, typically after 3 or four weeks. Here in Oz they retail for AU$66 for a three-pack, a lot less than your $60 per. I find the silicone mask lasts up to a year, with care. Can this pack be bough...

Anyone else use the Airtouch F20 foam mask? How often do you actually replace it?
Hello, I've been using my mask for a few weeks now and while the CPAP website does mention to change it monthly, this seems a bit unnecessary, excessive (I'm guessing that it must last longer than a month), not to mention expensive. These masks retail for around $60. If you replace the mask every si...

Re: New to CPAP - I have a few questions
I have a buckwheat neck pillow--one of those U-shaped pillows (Bucky brand). I can add or remove the buckwheat filling to make it softer or harder. Try something like that on your favorite pillow and adjust it to your comfort. Let the open part of the "U" be where your cheek and mask are to keep th...

Re: New to CPAP - I have a few questions
Assuming you are using the resmed airtouch f20 mask, resmed says it doesn’t need cleaning as long as it gets replaced regularly (monthly). Per the resmed website: The UltraSoft memory foam cushion doesn’t require cleaning as long as it’s replaced regularly. You have the option of wiping it down wit...

Re: New to CPAP - I have a few questions
Hi TinyTot87, I'm relatively new to CPAP, too. But since none of the long-time members have answered your questions yet, I thought I'd take a stab at a couple of them. First, do not use Lysol to clean your gear. You want to use something that is gentle on the silicone and which will not leave behin...

New to CPAP - I have a few questions
Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to CPAP and I have some questions. First, I need some advice/suggestions. I got a full face mask which is very comfortable but sadly does not allow me to sleep on my side. Therefore, I've had to buy a CPAP pillow to my dismay as I loved my other pillow that I bought a...
