re breathing in my own exhalations, as I understand it, just the other side of the nose-bit are two mesh-like grills. I assume that's how exhaled air gets out. My theory is when wet, there are fewer holes, so more of my exhalation sticks around. I wake up taking huge lungfuls of unsatisfying air. Wh...

I can't see an option called smartstart but I have this problem every week when I rinse the hose. I'm waking up two or three times breathing in my own exhalation, and the solution for me has been to dry the mesh of the nasal mask, which works for so long but then it happens again.
