Re: AirSense AutoSet - different approach to titration?

But, I now have a lifetime supply of AirCurve 10 VAutos from the Online MarketPlaces
Like, you have a stash of VAuto machines?

Re: AirSense AutoSet - different approach to titration?

EPR of 3 doesn't seem to be cutting it for me either. My main problem is RERA'S/UARS from what I can tell. I should look for a VAuto.

Re: AirSense AutoSet - different approach to titration?

Oh wow, THANK YOU! "But, try telling them to increase their minimum pressure to decrease the machines overall pressure." I've actually seen this (I think?) in a family members data. To me it DOES make sense, things are more controlled at baseline so the algo doesn't go all hamfisted. Also, if I migh...

Re: AirSense AutoSet - different approach to titration?

OAs are not the only metric that the ResMed algorithm responds to. When the algorithm detects snore, flow limitations and hypopneas it also increases pressure. Responding to these, prevents all or most OAs. Setting your minim pressure against your median (median what???) or 95% (95% of what???) is ...

Re: Knightsbridge Owners.....

I put my Knightsbridge on over the headgear because it does not work under. I could not get a good fit on my mask with the Knightsbridge under the headgear. It may depend on your headgear. I use an N30 right now. The lady at the DME, who also uses CPAP, said she liked the headgear to be in direct c...

Re: Knightsbridge Owners.....

Under is where it belongs. I had to discontinue since it forced my teeth to clench and my overbite forced my jaw back. Now I mouth-tape with full-face and use a MAD before bed. Thank you! I never thought about taping with a FFM. I briefly tried to a nasal mask and couldn't handle it but I also have...

Re: Resvent Ibreeze Software update

Hooray for the search engine! I've looked at data from a family member's loaner machine, in their software AND OSCAR. Machine is absolute garbage. Long runs of flagged Flow Limitations, and the pressure just sits there around 6'ish. Also, no way the residual AHI is always less than 1. Like 0.2, 0.3,...

True, except the FDA's messaging has been especially poor surrounding this.

Thank you. I had heard similar. "Person is already on therapy" so it's up to the doc to decide appropriate device. Was yours Medicare thing? Thank you! My original sleep testing and machine purchase was under private insurance, but the switch to bilevel was under Medicare. Thank you, most helpful!

Re: For those running APAP with a narrow range.....

For some people the machines' programmed response to events can result in pressure that is too high Hard agree, from what I have seen with my own two eyes: 1. Philips is too "lazy" at increasing pressures in response to breathing disturbances. My family members Dreamstation 2 SUCKS. 2. ResMed CAN (...

Yeah, talking to him Tuesday. The plan was yesterday but emergent problems prevented that.

I'm just wondering what they are going to want for documentation.

Thanks!
