What type of flow limitation is this?

The past few days I have been waking up with my heart racing. Looking at the data, it seems that there some sort of flow limitation/airway collapse right before waking up, but I’m having trouble interpreting what is actually happening. I’ve scoured the internet for flow limitation examples and the c...

Re: Gasping for air, but no events flagged

That is what is really confusing me - I will jolt awake in the middle of the night and feel my heart racing. But as you've mentioned, nothing really seems off in Oscar. I will say in the past I had experimented around with increasing PS and/or EPAP in .2 increments and the jolting awake would increa...

Re: Low AHI/RDI with CPAP but still jolting awake every night

Thanks for the welcome! I was already waking up around 12am and 4am every night before CPAP. However, lately with the CPAP treatment the "jolts" feel much more pronounced - I can feel myself gasping for air and my heart rate spiking right before waking up, like a shot of adrenaline. Besides the occa...

Low AHI/RDI with CPAP but still jolting awake every night

Sleep study results gave .3 AHI and 7.0 RDI. Been on CPAP for almost 2 months and both measures are usually below 2.00 every night. However, I am still consistently being jolted awake at least twice a night, around 12am and 4am. Usually can't fall back asleep after the 4am jolt. This was also happen...
