Re: Switching from APAP to CPAP
Why not just make the switch and see how you feel That's a fair point If you know your average pressure on APAP, use that as your fixed pressure on CPAP setting Is it median pressure or the P95 pressure that it should be set to? There has to be an article somewhere on how to use APAP for titration ...

Switching from APAP to CPAP
Trying to get back into the routine of using my ResMed Airsense Auto 10 and not sure whether to keep using APAP. Or Evaluate the data from that month and a half I used the APAP to switch to a CPAP pressure. My memory of using APAP was my AHI was averaging 1.5 with little leakage though my daytime sl...

Re: Drooling an issue should I get a wedge pillow?
Ok great definitely sounds like I need to invest in these bed risers and avoid wedge pillows. Think I read somewhere that it helps with acid reflux or GERD also. I'll keep the cervical collar in mind thanks! You will probably find it easier to use CPAP after the surgery. That's what I'm hoping. I've...

Drooling an issue should I get a wedge pillow?
Currently curious who recommends wedge pillows out there. I have moderate sleep apnea predominantly hypopneic in nature especially when supine. I've been using CPAP with a full face mask but wake up multiple times a night with drool in the mask. My sleep study shows I sleep mostly on my side, this i...

Re: Drowning in my full face mask
Also I take a look at my tubing most nights for droplets or any sign of moisture and never see any. Will definitely give those actions a go if you think it's rainout though.

Re: Drowning in my full face mask
It is rain out, either from the humidifier or your breath. A mask liner could help wick away excess liquid. A hose cozy could keep the air a little warmer, and create less condensation. A heated hose helps more. Just to throw a spanner in the works I took a nap yesterday and my pillow was covered i...

Re: UARS - trouble switching from APAP to BPAP
Hi WillieRioli, I was diagnosed but it's not confirmed, if that makes sense. My sleep study AHI was only .2, but I had about 27 arousals per hour of sleep (based on EEG readings). Barring any other indications of cause (no restless legs, no signs of any other issue) and being highly symptomatic, th...

Re: UARS - trouble switching from APAP to BPAP
Can I ask how the doctor determined you had UARS and not another kind of sleep disorder?
Would love to sift through my sleep data and see if I can make this determination myself.

Drowning in my full face mask
Hey guys and gals, Does anyone have experience with waking up during the night (usually in the first couple hours of falling a sleep) with a pool of fluid in the bottom of there full face mask? I seem to always wake up during the night with the memory foam at the bottom soaking. I believe it's saliv...
