Re: J Coleman CPAP Reports

Thanks for the responses everyone. I will remember that about future threads.

Here is my last 2 weeks of data since changing my minimum pressure from 5 to 7. https://imgur.com/a/LFlgiIL

I am thinking of increasing my minimum pressure from 7 to 8 to see if I can improve on my average AHI of 3.8.

Re: CPAP reports

Thanks for the "bump". I did not know that.

Thanks for the response and information! I will try raising the minimum to 8 (from 7) and see how that goes for awhile. I am excited that I'm getting positive results.

Re: CPAP reports

Here is my latest data since changing my minimum pressure from 5 to 7. https://imgur.com/a/LFlgiIL I do feel more rested. Should I be content with these readings or should I increase my pressure to 8 or 9? Please advise. Sorry about migrating to another thread. My original thread was not getting any...

J Coleman CPAP Reports

This is continuation from my earlier post (CPAP Reports). I wanted to update my status since increasing my minimum to 7 on pressure (it started between min. 4 and max. 20 then changed to min. 5 and max. 13). So, I increased my min. to 7, started to sleep on my side instead of my back and put partial...

Re: CPAP reports

I wanted to update my status since increasing my minimum to 7 on pressure. So, I increased my min. to 7, started to sleep on my side instead of my back and put partial tape over my lips. My AHI has now gone down to between 1 and 5 consistently from readings of 6 to 15. I am using tape because when I...

Re: CPAP reports

See, that's why I came here. You are using your same tubing for 7 years, wow. My supplier wanted to put me on a month to month payment plan. Glad I checked here first.

I have made the change on my minimum from 5 to 7. I will see how it goes for awhile and see what the results are.

Thanks to all.

Re: CPAP reports

Okay, I will change the minimum.

My supplier said I need to get new tubing every 6 months. That may be their desire for me to spend more money. I'm wondering if the leak could come from old tubing. I don't want to spend any more money than I have to.

Re: CPAP reports

The leak fluctuation could have been due using an older mask. I believe I purchased a new one around that time and started using it. I need to replace my tubing as well. Let me get this straight, bump the min. 5 to a 7 and bump the high 13 to say 17 or just leave the 13? I reach out to my supplier f...

Re: CPAP reports

Yes, I've only made one change and that was the settings 4 - 20 to 5 - 13. I will increase the low to 7 and keep the high at 13. So, I think I'm learning more and more from you. If I can keep the air pressure at a certain point to keep air flow moving then this will lower my AHI which I need to try ...

Re: CPAP reports

By the way, after my sleep study, the medical group said I was a severe sleep apnea person (80 occurrences within an hour). Maybe this is the reason they set the settings up to 20.

Thanks for your help!

Re: CPAP reports

Yes, I do know how to change my settings. My supplier recommended pressure between 4 and 20. I felt 4 was too low and changed to 5. I also felt 20 was too high (changed to 13) because I woke up with the pressure literally pushing my headgear off my face. I will start with 7 and see what happens. Sho...

Re: CPAP reports

Here is the last 90 days report.

I am interested in how you use the report to make adjustments if needed.

How do you evaluate your report?
