I see that you started a different thread about what machine to use. It would be helpful if you'd stay in one thread for your various questions and issues. Thanks! Sorry, just trying to get eyes on these issues, I'm getting high AHI readings and feel like death now even with a CPAP. With CPAP it's ...

Seems Like I have Central Sleep Apnea - Switch to Bipap Worth it?
So I've been looking through my Oscar data and noticed that the vast majority of the time my AHI is coming from central and not obstructive. I am averaging about 5.5 AHI each night and since CPAP isn't supposed to help very much with central sleep apnea I am now debating whether it would be worth it...

Here's a link to the sleep study report, I think I did another one where the AHI went up to 14.Miss Emerita wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2023 11:22 amIn addition to answering Pugsy's question, could you let us know what the breakdown of your AHI was in your sleep study (obstructive apneas, central apneas, hypopneas)?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to using my CPAP and it was starting to work well but the last three days my AHI has spiked even though nothing has really changed. Re: Anyone use a CPAP and have TMJ? What helps?
In your first post, you did not mention that you wear an MAD. That raises a bunch of new questions: Were you using your MAD before you started CPAP? If so, for how long? Was it aggravating your TMJ before you started using a full face mask? Or did you start with both near the same time? A mandibula...

Anyone use a CPAP and have TMJ? What helps?
Hey I've recently noticed that my TMJ is flaring up and it started when I started using a CPAP, what might help with this? I have a full mask but have ordered a nasal one so I think that might help? I also use a mandibular advancement device - should I be no longer using it to pull my jaw forward? I...

CPAP causing TMJ / Jaw pain to increase
Hey I use a full CPAP face mask and am in my first full month of use, I have had TMJ issues in the past but noticed it flair up recently. Anyone have tips on how to reduce this? Would a full face mask be worse for this? Should I get a different one?
