Re: Reading OSCAR #2

Question on this topic to the more experienced .. (I am a newb and trying to learn) ... would the OP potentially benefit with some home oximetry to see if the SPO2 levels are still dropping, potentially pointing to some other issues to work on or at least some O2 addition to the CPAP therapy if ther...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

This is so strange: "I found out from my dr that the AS11 will start pressure where it last ended." There must be a way to turn this feature off or to over-ride it with ramp settings. Have you looked in the clinical menu? Yeah this was a little unexpected, but the data did support it the two times ...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Zonker, I was actually quite relieved. It was a video appointment, and I shared my screen with OSCAR and asked questions and she was really good at answering and showing me things that were good indicators in the data, then she shared the detailed RESMED data as well (not nearly as detailed as OSCAR...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Just a small update, progress is still good. Some things I have learned/done: 1) Switched to a Resmed P10 mask, that mask is a little more finicky than the Rio II, but more comfortable and lower AHI (not sure this is truly attributable to this mask.) 2) The issue I had with starting with higher pres...

Re: Missing Data on MyAir

I have seen a few issues with MyAir the past week or two ... it would not get the data until later in the day, or it would get partial data, then at some point later in the day, the data is fully updated and accurate.. This is happening most days, with the complete data uploaded by lunch time.

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Pugsy, I have not had any nasal congestion issues going on. The part that is interesting is, I was awake, had not fallen asleep yet, which is how I noticed it was different. With regards to imagr .. here are my steps ... 1) Screen capture OSCAR view as a saved png image 2) Login to Imagr 3) Drag ima...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Updated to remove the pressure graph and added in Flow Limit graph. Not sure why Imagr is behaving differently, however, to properly view, if I log out of imagr then view link as not myself logged in, I click on the image and it zooms in full size.

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Pugsy, Not sure why that last image would be any different in opening the link, using the steps provided (store in Imagr, choose large thumbnail, grab the Linked BBCode.) Let me try that last one again. http://i.imgur.com/6hVTFdYl.png The higher pressure is for the first but bit before turning off t...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Another question for those with more experience ... Last night when I first went to bed, I started to get some symptoms of aerophagia that I have not experienced before. After sleeping a little while I woke myself up with a mouth leak and took the advice to shut off the S11 and back on to mark the p...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Quick update ... last night was much better, some similar trends but with much lower magnitude. Seems some leaking starts to occur after a few hours, believe this to be mouth breathing, though much more controlled last night. Seems my body is just getting used to this new world and how not to breath...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Pugsy, Thanks for the experience and wisdom. I did dig into a few other sources of data available that also track my movement (watch and O2 ring) and was able to make some swags ... 1) most of the longer plateaus we after some sort of movement, each of which flagged by the devices as movement, those...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Thanks Pugsy. "There is no way to differentiate between mouth leaking and mask movement leaking just by looking at the leak graph. The machine just reports a leak." Any possibility one might see cyclical movement in the data if a mouth leak associated to respiration, rather than a mask leak, cyclica...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

small update ... things continue to progress well. Made the changes to ramp (this really was appreciated.). Mostly good sleep, had one iffy night feeling wise ... but the AHI was good, chalk this up to getting shingles and TDAP vaccines that had my body really cranky, better after a couple days. Her...

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Oh, one thing I just realized, the data from my AS 11 is shifted 1 hour (I will try to fix that when I get home) ... move all that data one hour to the right, or shift the SPO2 data 1 hour to the left when comparing those two sets of data.

Re: Newbie - Victory Dance .... AND a question

Not sure about the SPO2 depression, this was my first night capturing that data as well and I was a little surprised. I feel good this morning, so not sure if it is a data anomaly or something else, unfortunately my apple watch did not capture the SPO2 at the area of time. Here is the zoom in at 23:...
