Apnea and a partner that moves alot during sleep
I know this isn't exactly cpap related, but I figure someone over here may have dealt with this problem. I have mild/moderate sleep apnea and, of course, get very subpar sleep. My wife moves a lot in her sleep, but sleeps great. However, she wakes me up all the time(literally every three for four mi...

Mouth tape..
I need suggestions for types of tape for taping my mouth shut. I now have a mask that seals, allows me to sleep on my side and doesn't scar my nose(the activa ). However, I still don't sleep right. I'm just about convinced that air is escaping through my mouth, so I'll try the mouth taping experimen...

Mild apnea- check cost spiraling - check making me feel worse instead of better - check We are in a similar situation. I'm still plugging away at this cpap thing after 5 weeks. Got my third mask yesterday, a resmed activa and slept with it part of the night last night. It seems to have some potentia...

I just bought an activa today, should get it in the next few days. All of this in my continuing quest to spend as much money on masks as possible
I'm a side sleeper, so I hope it works well for that.

What info must be contained in the apap prescription...
I tried a search on this, but was unsuccessful in finding the information. I am going to have my doc write me a prescription for a apap machine next week. In order for a internet cpap company to accept this, what info must be in the prescription. For example: Must it say autopap, or is any cpap pres...

Thanks to everyone for the information. Absolutely incredible stuff. I knew my response would set off a debate. Understand that I'm only a month into this whole cpap thing, so while I questioned my doc, I didn't have a full knowledge base. I'm much more informed now and my next visit (scheduled for ...
