Re: High Centrals, Bad Sleep Quality, Next Steps?

Hi everyone: I found another doctor, and he was, surprisingly, just as unhelpful as the first one. He seemed to think that it was very unlikely that I needed a BIPAP. He recommended doing as I've done which is lower the pressure as much as possible. I'm down to 6 pressure but I still have very high ...

Re: High Centrals, Bad Sleep Quality, Next Steps?

Alright let's see what the private medical system can do for me. Hm.

Re: High Centrals, Bad Sleep Quality, Next Steps?

Got it. Is it necessary to engage another doctor before I go the route of tracking down a BiPAP (is that it?)? Re: High Centrals, Bad Sleep Quality, Next Steps?

I take a fairly large dosage of an SSRI called Sertraline, 150mg, and a chaser drug called Buspirone, which amplifies the effect. I have PTSD. I don't live at high altitude or have respiratory problems that I know of!

Working on finding a new sleep doctor, but wait times in the years..

High Centrals, Bad Sleep Quality, Next Steps?

Hello my friends: I've posted before, all in varying states of sleeplessness. Things have improved with your support, and with the support of a sleep tech that met with me once a week to help debug. I can now at least sleep with my CPAP on for a full night (between 6 and 9 hours). I settled on an Ai...

Newby Advice - Masks, Adjustments

Hello CPAP Talk: Want to start by saying how much I appreciate all of you and this forum. Its an oasis in a desert of industry "content." I'm a 33/yr male. Fit but living in a rather grim east coast city. I was recently diagnosed with mild apnea: I wake up a lot, never feel appropriately rested, sno...
