Re: Gluing tongue to roof of mouth
the airwaav is what I use. works a treat. Im glad to hear. Does it keep your tongue on the roof of your mouth and from falling back? Does it keep your jaw from falling back as well? Im starting to think my tongue is the main culprit in my sleep apnea, if I could get it under control I can make CPAP...

Re: Gluing tongue to roof of mouth
I figure if I just squirt some towards the front and middle part of my tongue and just push it to the roof of my mouth before it leaks into my throat, I should be fine.
I have tried the F20 with memory foam and without, Vitera, Dreamwear hybrid full face, Evora hybrid full face, Simplus.

Gluing tongue to roof of mouth
Hey all, chipmunk cheeks have been a nightmare to deal with and has been the main obstacle in treating my sleep apnea. Chipmunk cheeks happen because my tongue falls from the roof of my mouth as I fall asleep. I just got an idea. I am going to try to glue my tongue to the roof of my mouth tonight wi...

Re: myair app hasnt received data from machine airsense 11
According to a certain cpap youtube personality, theres an outage for the Myair app. I would recommend using OSCAR for data instead, its much more detailed!

Re: Preventing Chipmunk Cheeks With Scunci Headbands
Haha I see. Yea i mean i can prevent the air coming into my mouth with the tongue on the roof of my mouth while im awake but the issue arises when i start dozing off to sleep and my tongue just drops down. Ive been trying to leave my tongue there throughout the day so hopefully one day my body gets ...

Re: Preventing Chipmunk Cheeks With Scunci Headbands
Ah ok, dont worry about it i was at work all day today as well. So initially you werent doing this to prevent chipmunk cheeks but found that it actually worked for that too? Ive been trying to transition to using nasal masks because my F20 that i was using has been aggravating my tmj. The only thing...

Preventing Chipmunk Cheeks With Scunci Headbands

I dont know if its an old pic but do you still use 2 scuncis to prevent chipmunk cheeks? What pressure do you use? Has wearing the scuncis over time caused any tmj...

Re: Extremely Dry Mouth
For dry mouth, I use Oracoat Xylimelts. I got mine from Amazon. You can stick one of them on your gum and they lubricate your mouth throughout the night.

First night i slept with one of these devices my jaw was already popping and clicking afterwards, so i just went with CPAP. They can work but just be careful with these things.

Thanks brother. I slept with my O2 ring last night with my nasal pillows and O2 readings were normal. HmmBigNortherner wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 1:16 pmThe research paper on nose restriction is at https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29105874/.

Re: restricted nasal airway - reason for tiredness?
I had another question for you folks and didnt want to take up too much room starting a new thread. When im looking at my flow chart, i zoomed in and saw that before almost every CA event or OA event, my flow became flat right before it was marked, what does that mean?. Ideally a normal flow chart s...

Re: restricted nasal airway - reason for tiredness?
You might also ask yourself whether something unrelated to sleep breathing is causing your daytime tiredness. Has your regular doctor run any tests (e.g., thyroid, autoimmune, iron, testosterone if you're a man)? Well i did do alot of blood tests maybe about a year ago for my frequent urination as ...
