I'm not quite sure I understand your suggestion. Could you clarify? I don't have a S9 but with the AirSense 10 the temperature set with the heated hose is the maximum temperature. If the ambient temperature is high enough the hose is not heated at all. The humidifier is a much stronger heat source ...

The obvious difference is the heated hose. ResMed has a temperature sensor there. If the temperature is set at 20°C and depending on the ambient conditions it may well be that the heating of the humidifier will be throttled to not exceed the set temperature - as opposed to a fixed setting of 3 witho...
