Re: F30 cheek leaks
Have you considered a different pillow for you head? A hose management system? Do you have a pillow you recommend? I bought one from Amazon and the off gassing smell was so awful that after a week I returned it after washing it, leaving it in the sun, etc. Thank goodness there was a return policy.

F30 cheek leaks
Does anybody have a good suggestion/trick for elimating those cheek "burps" that I get when wearing the AirFit F30 mask? Tight or loose, I just can't seem to eliminate them. I use a padacheek liner due to not tolerating the silicone against my skin. I'm a side sleeper.

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape
am a mouth breather AND when I use my F30 mask I get these burps out the side of the mask as soon as my facial muscles relax at all. I've read that lots of people tape their mouths while using a nasal pillow mask. Why wouldn't I want to do that as well? If you need your mouth for breathing, and you...

Changed mask- now having all CA
I was having a lot of leaks around my F30 mask and increased AHI (not bad really- still under 5, but I'm still only ~ 3 months in so am studying my trends). I decided to switch masks to my P10 and tape my mouth (I tend to breathe through my mouth a lot). I made this change two nights ago and would l...

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape
Technical question regarding taping the mouth- is the purpose to cover the mouth completely so no air can escape? I've seen that some people tape vertically just at the center of the mouth. I tried this and (being a chronic mouth breather)... As a chronic mouth breather, you shouldn't tape your mou...

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape
I started with the 1" Medvance, but It was too narrow for me. I switched to the 2" and it works a lot better for me. To avoid leaking I like to cut the piece 4 or 5 inches long. It is pricey but I get several days out of each piece. Also, the 2" tape is a little thicker, which I like. Maybe that is...

Re: how am I doing?
I've never felt 'not good' during the day. And none of these changes in settings have changed the way I feel- not tired, able to exercise.... One question I do have however- why would someone choose a fixed pressure rather than a variable pressure? Wouldn't a variable pressure allow for different pr...

Re: how am I doing?
Set min pressure to 10, top at 20. Raised EPR to 3. Tried turning off ramp but it was too much initial pressure to my liking so put it on auto.

Re: how am I doing?
I would suggest raising your minimum to 10, turning off the ramp (unless you love it), and raising your EPR to 3. The EPR might help with the flow limitations. The FLs may or may not be keeping you from the most restful sleep possible -- one person may be quite affected by them and another affected...

how am I doing?
I'm 3 months in. Began with variable rate of 4-20. Changed to fixed pressure down to 8 at one point (due to various suggestions). After sharing my high flow limits a few days ago, it was suggested i return to variable pressure (4-20). Can someone now look at trends and tell me what else I need to do...

Re: data review please
Hi, I think my original variable settings were 4-12. I switched to fixed pressure after (maybe incorrectly interpreted) listening to Nikko's youtube videos regarding low AHI readings. I read it as- as long as your AHI readings are lower than 5, keep lowering your pressure. I was never tired before s...

data review please
Hi. 3 months in and changed a bunch of settings along the way after reading stuff on here, like doing fixed pressure rather than variable. I'm thinking I need to go back to a variable pressure however as my flow limits are way high. Thanks in advance https://sleephq.com/public/579407d4-6815-464b-9a5...

Re: help a brand new user?
Thanks so much for your responses! I raised the humidity by 1 (up from 4 to 5) for last night's sleep. made a big difference (even though it's raining a lot here in norther california). didn't feel the need to cough. And I'll check out the Lansiloh. Thanks for the tip, however it's spelled. I think ...
