Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
I understand that you are past the warranty period. I understand that you want to try to fix this thing. If Medicare paid for this and you want to give Resmed another shot at this contact the Medicare Advocate for your state, each state has one. Explain what happened and see if there is something t...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
So, you used a recalled because of cancer causing VOCs and shredding foam machine to feed the AC10? *blink blink* Ok, sure. At least you're using (multiple?) anti bacterial filters, which will reduce the amount of air considerably. The CPAP I'm using to supply clean air is an old Respironics Remsta...

BTW another source for parts is a quiet uses AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10. The model doesn't matter, the parts are all the same.

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
Thanks, I previously checked the filter, it's good, see photo. It makes the same whining noise even with the filter door open. Please listen to the attachment "RESMED-A10-WHINING-NOISE" and let me know what you think that could be from. It sounds like mine did when the intake was partially blocked,...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
The Respironics blowing in filtered air is completely unnecessary, overcomplicates it, creates another point of failure, it being limited to 4CM could inhibit the airflow and result in less pressure on your VAuto. As mentioned earlier a hole a little bit bigger than the VAuto's inlet will suffice. ...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
My Aircurve 10 VAuto (Not a "bipap™") started making strange noises, and started behaving strangely because the thin hypoallergenic filter was partially collapsed into the intake and presenting very high airflow resistance. There's nothing to support the filter at the bottom of the opening. Turn th...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
Thanks, I tried the tank reseat several times early on, it's not the source of the clicking. Take a listen to the attachment "RESMED-A10-CLICKING-NOISE", it sounds like a noisy valve actuation to me. Yes, I'll probably call Resmed and raise the noise level. The device is a bi-level Aircurve 10 VAuto...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
Yes, that's pretty much my dilemma: I know it's supposed to be a 2 year warranty, but Resmed won't talk with a patient, and the DME is basically doing the "sorry, but we can't/won't do anything". Without someone from Resmed actually reading this thread and offering to help, my initial question seems...

Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
I received the Resmed Aircurve A10 auto bipap machine 2020-11-07. Over the course of the next year, it occasionally emits a clicking noise that occurs just before inhale peak, and then also at start of exhale, like an audible valve closure. (attachment "RESMED-A10-CLICKING-NOISE.zip" is a compressed...
