Re: Airsense 10 humidifier tank never goes below 1/3 of a tank.
Well that's just the thing, it uses the same amount of water no matter what, seems kind of odd to me?

Airsense 10 humidifier tank never goes below 1/3 of a tank.
Can anyone explain what might be causing this issue? It appears that regardless of the number of hours I utilize my AirSense 10, the humidifier water level never drops below 1/3. I have tried it for 5 and 9 hours with various temperature settings, but there is always 1/3 of water left in the tank. P...

Cheap cervical collar recommendations?
I want to try a soft foam cervical collar. I see several different types on Amazon. Does anybody have any recommendations on something they've tried, looking for cheap and effective to use with the full face mask.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Slimline vs. standard tubing noise?
I only tried the settings that matched the tubing.
But it would be interesting to go back and do it mismatched and listen for differences.

Slimline vs. standard tubing noise?
As an old-school user of standard tubing, I decided to give slimline tubing a try to see if I could notice any difference. Although I couldn't feel any change in pressure, I did notice that my ResMed 10 machine seemed to be significantly louder when using the slimline tubing. Has anyone else experie...

Thanks for the replies. I will use the Resmed until the the wheels fall off and keep the DS2 as a backup.

Re: New member - First night using Oscar. Feb 19 Update.
if'n i had such a choice, i'd use the resmed as the primary machine and the other as backup. why? because i feel like i get better treatment with resmed. and i'm saying that as someone who has used both. Thanks for getting back to me! I'm gonna test out the Dreamstation 2 for a few more nights. Sin...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar. Feb 19 Update.
Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update on my sleep apnea treatment. Last night, I had the opportunity to use a different machine. Due to the Philips recall, I received a long overdue DreamStation 2. I noticed pressure spikes on the machine's graph during use. Does anyone have any ideas on what co...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar
Tried something new last night. Still trying to find good settings, I went full Lanky Lefty mode last night. CPAP only, No EPR although I did use my humidifier (I'm not that crazy) ;-) I tried running at 13 cm of pressure, should I go lower? Any suggestions? https://www.dropbox.com/s/70dt5bs0vb5wc4u...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar
I returned to my initial settings of 15 and ERP of 2 because I was concerned about getting a good night's sleep for work. I'm not sure where the leak would be. The only air I feel coming out is from the vent on the mask. I fall asleep on my back and wake up on my side every night. Tonight I'm going ...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar
I haven't had access to my ResMed AirSense 10. For about a month I've had to use a Resvent iBreeze 20a machine (it's a long convoluted story) but I did get the ResMed back last night so I was able to take data. I dropped the pressure down to 13 and the machine felt like it was pumping a little. Rega...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar
Thanks for the replies. I'd like to titrate down if I can because of some gas and boating issues that I have always just kind of "lived with". Any recommendations on a schedule to follow?

Re: New member - First night using Oscar
The thing that concerns me about your leaks is that the baseline isn't at 0.0...it's up around 15 L/min. That's not normal. When is the last time you checked your hose for holes? Only time I have had a high baseline like that I found a hole in my hose. You should have at least some time where the l...

New member - First night using Oscar
New member here, and I wanted to say hello to the community and thank you in advance for being patient with me. I have used a CPAP for about 15 years a Respironics System 60 which has been recalled. I ran a pretty high pressure of 15 using my old machine. Last night was the first time I used a Resme...
