Re: Strong correlation between movements, flow rate dislocations and appearance of apneas?
No scurring here, just watchful waiting to see how you justify that movement and oximetry data incorporation would be a stupid idea.
Still waiting

Re: Strong correlation between movements, flow rate dislocations and appearance of apneas?
Read topic. There is a topic that states Resmed is NOT studying /investigating movement sensor? Could you please explain why you think that oximeters and movement sensors are stupid adjuncts to consumer machines? My personal philosophy is that more information that relates to therapy is desirable.

Re: Leaks and machine capability/reliability
Similar situation. showed Oscar to doc, and he noted that 75% of my events occurred during big leak periods. I would go to sleep for 2 hours and only have 2 events while I was at minimal leak. During the next 3 hours with leaks between 35-65, I would have 40 events. Then during the final 3 hours at...

Talk about useless, here's a screen shoot of Fitbit's output for overnight oxygen. No actual data, no idea what the distinction is between high and low variation, "high variation @ sometime (have to guess) 5am and 6 am.

Re: Switching from APAP to CPAP
There are other ways to deal with FLs besides the auto adjusting pressure feature in apap mode. So even if a person has some problematic FLs they can usually be dealt with using other measures if needed. That might be useful to talk about, unless you already have a link to some place else in the fo...

Re: AIRVIEW communications
Then why isn't [MyAir] avaialble immediately after a session? It's not. Why is it that when ResMed's servers are unavailable, MyAir will not show any of that data? If it was transferred via Bloothtooth, it would be available. Things may work differently in Canada, but on my phone the MyAir data is ...

Re: AFIB and Sleep Apnea - linkage?
My husband had double ablation, up one leg for atrial fibrillation and up the other leg for atrial flutter. One side had to be burned, the other frozen. His surgery was successful and solved both problems. Hi, can you elaborate on that? We’re both ablations done at the same time and the catheters w...

Re: AFIB and Sleep Apnea - linkage?
Sometimes it is possible to correct "faulty wiring". Wish your brother well, In the ablation technique the surgeon kills (by intense heat or intense freezing) heart tissue so that the electrical signals can't pass into the atria from the veins. The biggest drawback so far is that the surgeon cannot...

Re: AFIB and Sleep Apnea - linkage?
@ Dataq, Thanks for that explanation, it mirrors what my doctors have told me, but you added a bit more detail. I went to my cardiologist, who referred me to an electro-doc. One of the first things my electro-doc did was to order a sleep study and it showed that I had mild apnea. I'd never been test...

AFIB and Sleep Apnea - linkage?
The electrophysiologist and the sleep doctor agree that Sleep Apnea causes, or at least exacerbates Atrial Fibrillation. Do many of you have AFIB?
