Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

Palerider suggested a mimimum pressure. Good point. Soon I'll test 12-20 with EPR 3. Keep a daily diary of how you felt when you got up. Then post the charts, and for each one, separately, tell us how you felt. I did that for the original charts at the start of this thread. There doesn't seem to be...

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

How will our responses to the once again no longer relevant charts help you? Sorry let me be more clear: a few people suggested turning EPR up to 3 and I tried that but I felt worse. I think perhaps the pressure needed to be higher to compensate for it. I don't understand how to figure out what it ...

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

Anyone have any ideas? 🙏 I'm a bit stuck at this point. I went back to min 7 max 15 (without EPR) and I sleep pretty well 60% of nights but otherwise I feel quite bad during the day.

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

you should post your most recent chart. Good point! I've included 4 nights of me using EPR 3 below. On all of these days I woke up feeling pretty awful and had quite bad fatigue for the entire day. https://i.ibb.co/qB4HN9Z/Screenshot-2022-12-14-at-19-43-51.jpg https://i.ibb.co/cg08gQF/Screenshot-20...

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

I've been testing EPR 3 (min pressure 8, max 15) the last three days and I feel a lot worse when I wake up. I'll give it another day until I change it just in case it's a fluke. Can anyone help me to understand, looking at my charts above, the appropriate pressure settings with EPR 3 turned on? It f...

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I'm touched. For now I've increased min pressure to 7 and after a few days gathering data I'll experiment with changing my EPR settings. I'm going to run 5-7 day experiments for each change I make. I also went to three (!) different ENTs to ask what they thi...

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

As an aside, elsewhere someone suggested changing my RedMed's EPR setting to 3 and "full time". As a way of reducing flow limits. Could anyone weigh in on the wisdom of that?

Re: New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

Now, THOSE settings are crazy. Why is that? Is there a chance you are doing some significant mouth breathing while asleep? First of all thanks for your detailed analysis. I appreciate it a lot. I've been taping my mouth every night so I think we can rule out mouth breathing. So you haven't had a fo...

Ah sorry to be unclear. I've included a Dropbox link with screenshots as I wasn't able to upload attachments.

New to CPAP - Help with pressure settings (ResMed AirSense 10)

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with OSA around 3 months ago. I'm 33, normal build and not overweight so it came as quite a shock. However I've struggled with excessive daytime fatigue for years. I did hospital lab study and it came back with AHI 31. I then did a separate at-home study (set up by a ...
