Re: Billing Codes

So what is squirrelly about that? Repairing a five-year-old machine is squirrely. If your insurance company figures out how old it is, you are unlikely to get reimbursed. (Although, some insurance companies have temporarily liberalized their practices due to the market shortage of machines.) The ma...

Re: Billing Codes

It would seem to me a doctor or other medical professional would need to authorize a repair (or replacement) of equipment and it would be the that person who also provides the correct coding. Otherwise what would stop people from simply buying or being given a broken CPAP, sending it to a repair fa...

Re: Billing Codes

That number is referenced on ResMed medicare numbers. Did you find it on a different document? ---------------------> https://www.aapc.com/codes/hcpcs-codes/K0739 Very nice, thank you. Though I notice top of the web page it talks Medicare again, I probably should submit using that number and see wh...

Re: Billing Codes

Such pessimists lol.
Would seem simple to find a code for repair. But even on CPAP.com the list they have covers all except repair.
Don’t get me started on buying a new one. I dislike a company that drops price drastically after you pay full price then says to bad.

Re: Billing Codes

No, I am speaking of a machine sent in for repair, less than 5 years old and not connected with Medicare at all, under standard insurance.

Billing Codes

I have performed a search here using various words.
Looking for the billing code specifically for CPAP machine repair.
Would it fall under E1399?
I only found on the ResMed site a billing code for DME repair under Medicare.

Thank you.

Re: Oscar Question

To clarify. Yesterday afternoon I verified the date/time in machine. Correct date. Time was 6:46 PM. Machine showed 18:46. Correct time since the day I set it up. Oscar on daily page, details, does not show when I started it last night, at 20:00 nor shut it off at 05:20, but a different set of numbe...

The AS11 is set to GMT time and cannot be reset.
The AS10 can be reset with difficulty.
So if I understand you, the AS10 is set for GMT, which is what Oscar shows below the graphs?
When setting up the AS10, I did not see an option for choosing PT zone or any other.

Re: Oscar Question

Tried using search mechanism, but…. So my Resmed Airsence 10 has correct date/time, though uses military time. Oscar, when looking at the details page, sets time up left to right 2, 3, 4 etc. under preferences, drift clock, it’s set to 0. Would I change those numbers to correlate to actual night ti...
