Re: Resmed P10 masks venting sucks
Stop trying to get me to agree with you....it's NOT going to happen and after this duplicate post above (you copied from that other thread) I may not read anything you bother to write (you may make it to my Foe list just because you are annoying me with your arguing). Last warning about duplicate p...

Re: Resmed P10 masks venting sucks
Did you read all my posts with attachments from studies. I did read your posts but will admit to skimming over your obviously edited snippets of what a study might have said. Since you didn't bother with links to the studies I don't really pay much attention when it's obvious that someone cherry pi...

Re: Mask carbon dioxide levels - toxicity
I am not trying to shove my opinion down anyones throat (just my opinion). However, I ask that you carefully read the results of my Google AI inquiry on the subject. I realize there is no absolutly conclusive study that says, yes you with suffocate to death, but there is a lot of information that ma...

Re: Mask carbon dioxide levels - toxicity
Stuff it. I use a pressure of 5. You are another CPAP forum cheerleader and i'm tired of it. No open mindedness or critical thinking. Well...you aren't the only one tired of someone. I am so tired of people thinking their opinion is the only one that is right and getting all pissy about it when som...

Re: Resmed P10 masks venting sucks
Well......I am going to respectfully disagree with pretty much everything you said. What you said can happen but it isn't set in stone that it will happen to everyone. I have never had the P10 vent holes get plugged up and I have had tons of rain out to deal with since I use max humidity setting. P...

Re: Mask carbon dioxide levels - toxicity
So what if you are right? I highly doubt you are. I don't hear of people dying from using the masks you list, nor do I hear of any lawsuits. You have yet to show me your results from testing at a pressure of 9 or 10. No one I know uses a pressure of 5. That would choke me. Stuff it. I use a pressur...

Re: Resmed P10 masks venting sucks
Here is the actual study, which the OP has neglected to link to: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1389945724002685 I'm guessing the OP has neglected to link to the actual study because he has quote mined it to the point of dishonesty. The OP claims that the P10 venting sucks, ...

Resmed P10 masks venting sucks
I am not convinced that rebreathing of CO2 is not occuring with the Resmed P10 mask. I have been using the Resmed P10 mask and it has a terrible venting system. It utilizes a fine meshed panel to expell CO2. Problem is those holes are easily occluded if not cleaned regularly. However, more concernin...

People who say they feel like there suffocating at low cpap pressure
I can never understand when people say they feel like they are suffocating if they use a pressure under 7. I mean, the machine even at 5, is blowing a hurricane either up your nose or in your face. It is forcing air in to your mouth and throat as opposed to still air without the machine. Please expl...

Resmed Airfit P10 Part Question
It's driving me crazy. I think the part I am looking for is called the diffuser. It is the part with the mesh screen that allows for the dispersion of air from the mask. Is there a way to just order this part. If not, what other part is it connected to if you want to purchase one. It seems like this...

Re: Loud audible breathing when using CPAP
I used a micro recorder set on the nightstand next to my bed. It definitely would have sounded the same to anyone in the room.

Loud audible breathing when using CPAP
OK, so last night for the first time I recorded myself sleeping with CPAP. While my breathing was regular and relatively unlabored sounding, it was fairly loud, kind of Darth Vader creepy like. When I have the mask on and awake, I do not hear this sound. It is not a leak or whistling sound, just lou...
