If you want to generate any interest in GPT 4, why not share what it had to say about your OSCAR report?
I personally am skeptical that a LLM like GPT series can interpret OSCAR data. After all, it's built for textual data.

Re: Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
Anyway, following Miss Emerita's suggestion I'm trying standard response for a few days. So after a couple of weeks with Response on Standard instead of Soft, I have a subjective feeling that I'm sleeping a bit more soundly, but my daytime sleepiness is still mostly the same, i.e. quite significant...

Re: Difficult first experience with the nasal pillow P10 ?
I may be getting mixed up, but I think I read somewhere that the N30 headgear, which is adjustable, is compatible with the P10?
Also I noticed on Amazon adjustable headgear from 3rd parties which claim to be P10-compatible.
Might be worth looking at.

+1 for robysue's encyclopedia articles :) (Maybe you should put them on the wiki and then you don't need to repeat information for each of us clueless newbies). The EasyBreathe algorithm has the pressure at the full pressure setting only at the critical "end of inhalation" timing in the respiratory ...

Re: Are these arousals? Help needed for PS settings
Not sure this is relevant, but I'm just wondering why the Flow Limitations statistics in OSCAR are all 0.00 when there are clearly at least a few indicated on the chart? Is it a reporting artifact of this particular ResMed model? Or does it indicate something is not right with the data being reported?

I figured it out: the images are hosted on Facebook's CDN. My FF is configured to block "Social Trackers", which it thinks includes these links.
Anyway, I don't want to derail the OP's thread...

OK - I generally use FF, where they aren't showing up. I do see them now in Chrome.

Is it just me or does everyone else not see the images in this post?
Could someone help the OP to post their images?
(BTW, BBCode image sizing doesn't seem to work on this forum software version)

Re: Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
This video puts forward the theory that we can identify REM sleep via patterns in the flow rate, respiration rate, minute ventilation, and tidal volume. I think for many people's charts it just isn't possible to do that, and I'm least convinced that the contrast between even flow rates and spiky fl...

Re: Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
I hope the attached illustrations from my night last night will help... Maybe you can help me get a better feel for this. At the beginning of the night my flow chart is very regular: https://i.imgur.com/HdUmnAP.png Later on there are quite frequent spikes: e.g. https://i.imgur.com/JZRiQXV.png and h...

Re: Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
I think you'll benefit from learning to identify arousal breathing. Some of the spikes are just deep breaths, but others are part of a bit of arousal breathing. What you need to do is to zoom in on the flow-rate graph and take a closer look. A spike may just be a sigh while you're asleep, but it ma...

Re: Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
my mask is Swift FX (exhaust vent partly covered with gauze). This is a bit of concern. CPAP masks are designed to vent at levels necessary to prevent CO2 buildup. Covering part of the vent could allow CO2 to rise to unhealthy levels. Yes, absolutely. I got some guidance from @robysue1 about this. ...

Great AHI etc. but also fragmented sleep?
I'm quite new to this CPAP game. I believe I've gotten used to it, my settings seem basically well-titrated and my stats look good. But I'm not feeling less tired during the day. My machine is Resmed AS10 Autoset, and my mask is Swift FX (exhaust vent partly covered with gauze). I'm vaguely consciou...
