I had one split in about a week, but the one I am using now is over 3 months in. I have found that proper fit is a big factor in making them last. It may take some time to figure out just the correct amount of tightening. Too much will definitely contribute to early failure. Thanks for the hope jsm...

We don't have set prices for products here. Likely it's a tariff issue with medical devices.

Our hosts at cpap.com offer "return insurance"--sometimes free and sometimes for a small fee that would allow her to try a mask for up to 30 days and return it for another if it's not working for her.
