Re: AirTouch F20 Memory Foam Cushion - Small - Only Lasts 3 Weeks
I'm looking to understand if I'm doing something wrong with the above. I only get 3 weeks wear before a split appears at the top of the mask creating a major leak. I'm going to play around with the head setting which holds the mask to the top my nose. Wondering if anyone else has issues. I'd like t...

Re: AirTouch F20 Memory Foam Cushion - Small - Only Lasts 3 Weeks
I had one split in about a week, but the one I am using now is over 3 months in. I have found that proper fit is a big factor in making them last. It may take some time to figure out just the correct amount of tightening. Too much will definitely contribute to early failure. Thanks for the hope jsm...

Thanks chunkyfrog. So, something like this? Have you tried one? Not sure how comfortable or good a seal they provide. Thanks

Re: Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
We don't have set prices for products here. Likely it's a tariff issue with medical devices.probably because canada has socialized medicine a price is set

Re: Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
Thanks for the pointer, but they are in Texas and we're in Canada. Our hosts at cpap.com offer "return insurance"--sometimes free and sometimes for a small fee that would allow her to try a mask for up to 30 days and return it for another if it's not working for her.

Re: Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
Thanks for all the great suggestions. I talked to my cousin and we are going to investigate OT & physio therapy to see if that improves her range of motion. The one piece you put on like a baseball cap also holds promise. As you can imagine, the big issue would be trying the different options withou...

Re: Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
Thanks. I'd seen the endorsements for Bleep but I have found very few sources for their products here in Canada. I'm also concerned about the steps in applying the Dreamports described here https://www.canadacpapsupply.com/catalog/product/view/id/2706/s/bleep-dreamports-32-count-16-nights-1/category...

Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
I am looking for a better solution for a cousin who has dexterity problems in putting on her mask by herself. She does not have the range of motion to get the mask over her head by herself. We will be looking at physio to see if that can improve it. She currently has a Resmed Airsense 10 and, I thin...
