Wierd noise at the end of inhalation

hello, Last two nights my CPAP is making wierd noise. It starts around 20-30 minutes after I have it on, and I hear this very Faint squeak that sounds like "chunk" at the end of inhalation. I cant figure out where its coming from. I tried to examine my machine and put my ear close to it, but I cant ...

Cleaning has nothing to do with it....I would bet that when you load your Oscar chart most of the events were CAs.
I just downloaded oscar. and opened . Yes they do read as CAs? why is this happening? Does it mean central apnea? or is it misreading something?

Re: Sudden AHI change after not using for a week.

Anyways I am back to normal, so i washed everything in my cpap and used it again the last two nights. The first night my AHI was around 4.5 and last night 3.5 . I believe something is off. The reason is I was still not asleep the first 45 minutes, and when I clicked on the sleep report it said 45 m...

Sudden AHI change after not using for a week.

Hi friends. My AHI during the initial sleep test was around 7. So mild sleep apnea. When I started using the machine my AHI would hover between 1 and 2. Almost never above 3. I got COVID last week so i stopped using the machine as i was coughing a lot at night. It was also effecting my larynx from h...

Re: CPAP making noise in middle of night around 3 hours.

My first suspect would be the water in the mask or hose. I know you are seeing just a few drops but I have been there and done that and sometimes a half a teaspoon of water will make a horrible racket. With your humidity setting you are a prime candidate for some condensation happening. If you are ...

Re: Bad and good.- getting sinues infection/ mucus a LOT

This is an interesting thread. I have really bad sinus and allergy issues plus live in the Southeast US with four full seasons of allergens. Recently my sleep has been really bad with my nose clogging up in the middle of the night, which would wake me up and force me to replace my nasal pillows wit...

Re: Bad and good.- getting sinues infection/ mucus a LOT

Last few days have been unsuccesful. I have been going to bed when I am not tired yet but it is late so its time for bed. Then I just lay there waiting for sleep to come. ( I am also dieting - bodybuilding style, low calories) so sometimes sleep is harder to come when calories are restricted. The ma...

The mask fit shows a red alarm so will try a different size and will hopefully solve that. but overal...

Re: Bad and good.- getting sinues infection/ mucus a LOT

Nasal congestion and/or drainage is a common thing with cpap. Google "cpap rhinitis" and start reading. Some people get those unwanted symptoms with too little added moisture and some people get the same unwanted symptoms with too much added moisture. Everyone is different and we don't know if your...

Yes always use distilled water. Nasal steroid have never given me issues.
What’s an in-line filter? Is that the small rectangular filter on the side. I bought a hypoallergenic one too.

Mild OSA

Hello. Quick story. 2013 diagnosed with mild OSA. Repeat testing 6 month later no OSA. Forgot about it. Fastforward to 2022. Symptoms of day time sleepiness and fatigue. Home Test showed Mild OSA again. My sleep doc, said home test can underestimate AHI so recommended CPAP therapy. For the people th...
