Climate line and sweating
I have a Remed with a climate line set at 74 and every night I sweat really bad on the back of my neck. Last night I did not use my cpap and I did not sweat. Is there a correlation or did I just happen to not sweat last night? I am turning the temp down to the low 60's tonight.

A few nasal mask ?'s
A little history first. My main mask is a Nasal Pillow currently the Aloha. I also use the Swift LT. Both work great for me, but at times when I am really stuffed up, because of allergies, I turn to my Nasal mask the Profile Lite gel. I like it, but it puts more pressure than is comfortable on my up...

Climate line tubing?
On the S9 autoset how to you determine the temp to set it at? I have mine at 82 and it seems ok. At times I can really feel the moisture (maybe those are the times I preheat), but most times not.

Tap Pap mask?
The youtube video says no upper fillings on teeth. Does this include cavity fillings also?

Tap Pap and Cpap pro mask
Wondering what the differences are and has anyone tried both? Reviews of Cpap pro are old and the material has changed since. The reason I ask is Apria says they can get the Cpap pro but not the Tap Pap. Probably will try the swift fx if no good comments on Cpap pro mask.
Thanks

Re: Aloha mask and Swift Lite? Apria?
Yes it is the Swift LT. I thought the LT was newer than the Swift FX will have to look at the FX then if they don't have the Aloha or Tap Pap. Since the Full Face was from Apria I have to use them. They are a bit of a problem, but since I deal with them so seldom I just live with the frustration of ...

Aloha mask and Swift Lite? Apria?
I have decided to return my full face mask back to Apria and exchange for a nasal pillow. The full face was used because of nasal congestion, but the fit and severe dry mouth makes it have to go. I have overcome the congestion by just keeping the nasal pillow on and evently I fall asleep. If it does...

Resperonics Remstar plus
Can we sell our CPAP machines on this forum? I have upgraded to my resume S9 Autoset, and I do not need this machine anymore. It also, has the attached humidifier. If I can how can I set a price for the unit? It has all the parts and works great.

S9 autoset sound?
I have had the S9 for about a week now and every 10 seconds I hear a faint tick tock and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is? I can only hear this when it is not in use. I also have the humidifier attached to it also. Enquiring minds want to know.

Gel vs Silicone?
Wondering what the difference between gel vs silicone in masks means. I have only had silicone on my Nasal Pillow and Full Face mask. Silicone is more thin and works great with the pillows. I can't see gel working on pillows, but on the other hand regular Nasal and Full Face with gel might be a good...

Questions on Nasal mask types
Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the Philips Profile Lite Gel Nasal mask to the Philips ComfortClassic Nasal or even the ComfortGel original (looking at really the first two only though)? The only difference seems to be the Gel. Does the Gel really make that big of a difference, and is it w...

Re: Nasal mask vs Nasal Prong
Slept almost 7 hours with my old Nasal Pillow and registered no leaks and a AHI of 0.4. If my congestion can stay this way I would love it. I really like Pillows over a Full Face mask. I still think a Nasal mask might work even when I am more congested. So I will start a new thread on varieties of N...

Re: Nasal mask vs Nasal Prong
Whats wrong with using nasal pillows with 1 clogged nostril? This is me every night. This used to not bother me but I think my asthma is getting worse and that plays the main role. I am going to try my old Nasal Pillow (Resmed Swift LT) tonight and see if it works. My nasal passage way seems to not...

Re: Nasal mask vs Nasal Prong
I messed up I meant to say I used a Nasal Pillow not Prong and was wondering if a change to a regular Nasal mask might help. Sorry

Nasal mask vs Nasal Prong
I switched from a Nasal Prong mask to a Full Face mask because I usually have one nostril plugged up. I am getting tired of the Full Face mask, and was wondering if a Nasal mask might work. With the Nasal Prong my stuffed up side would make me fell closed in and I would have to remove the mask. I am...
