Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water

From my experience, bedroom humidity is a big factor in how much water you use on the machine. If I use a room humidifier in my bedroom, my machine water usage drops considerably. My brand new Resmed 11 , when it started getting cold outside, was having the water chamber empty in the morning. I bou...

Re: Airsense 11 humidifier issues

I bought a Hygrometer at Home Depot for around $15. I found out that the humidity in my bedroom was around 20%,( way too dry) so the Airsense 11 was using all the water before morning. I bought an inexpensive room humidifier at Walmart, and I use it when it is cold outside and the heat is on, and th...

I just got a new S11.
Please don't call it a "S11", Resmed doesn't.
My guess is that everyone that read my post knew what I meant...

Re: New AirSense 11 Autoset questions

I just got a new S11. It does come with the slimline hose, but I ordered a heated Hose for it. The filter door should stay shut, your door may have been broken. I would have them send you a new door, it just clips in place.

Re: Airsense 11 Water Tank - Not "clicking" in correctly?

See if the silicone connector on the tank is out of round. Try and jiggle it so it is more rounded, and then see if it fits OK.

Re: Replacing Resmed Airfit F 20 mask cushion

After I posted this thread, I called Resmed and asked them and they said the same as my insurance, 30 days for both the silicon and the foam FS 20. Go figure.

Replacing Resmed Airfit F 20 mask cushion

I wonder how often users replace the silicon cushion in the F 20 mask. My Kaiser Therapist recommends every 30 days, but that seems excessive. I guess I shouldn't complain since they are paying for it, but it seems kind of wasteful to me.

Lankylefty27

I see there are quite a few videos on Youtube on Apnea, and wondering what the opinion of the videos by Lankylefty27 that members of this forum have?

Re: Noise on inhale and exhale from AirSense 10...

Sounds like the elbow that connects the hose to the mask, it has two flaps valves in it. have you ever replaced that part?

Re: Oscar vs SleepHQ

I am two weeks into CPAP , and my readings are fantastic, all less that 1.0, many less that 0.5 . Anyway, I have looked at Oscar, and Sleep HQ, and being a retired electronics instructor, I just like the look and simplicity of Sleep HQ. I think the price is a bit steep for the paid version, he would...

Re: Another reason not to trust Uncle Nicko

I am a newbie at this, and I have watched a bunch of his videos before I got my machine, but his info got me off on the right foot. My AHI for my first two weeks is averaging less than 1. :)

Re: Damaged AirSense 11, no heating available

I would take it to a shop if there is one near buy. It is probably just a connection that either broke or was dislodged when it fell. Shouldn't be difficult to repair.

That gasket on the As11 is not removable. If you look at your owners manual, it does not mention the gasket in their cleaning instructions.
The gasket on the AS10 was larger and was removable for cleaning.
OK, Thanks.. Glad I didn't try to rip it out of there.....

Resmed Air 11 question on cleaning

I cleaned my 1 week old Airsense 11 this morning, and I had seen videos on the 10 that showed the gasket inside the water tank being removed when washing it. I looked at the gasket inside the 11, and it looks like it is glued in place, so I didn't want to try and pry it out for fear of damaging it. ...
