Then you need to communicate with that supplier that any future orders must be on demand only; and you will refuse any future shipments unless you ordered everything shipped. Certified mail should be effective. Youth has not been wasted on one as wise as you. Good suggestions. I might be inclined t...

Re: Dry mouth

Well, I hope you're not overtightening straps because it can even create new small leaks, let alone discomfort and wrinkles  You'd have to decide how comfortable a strap would be. Mouth tape is used a lot - put that in the search bar here and see all the posts people have made on it. Does you...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap

Good tear down video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpI0AVoCG3M BTW another source for parts is a quiet uses AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10. The model doesn't matter, the parts are all the same. I love seeing this. ifixit.com is one of my favorite websites and this video is right in line with that. T...

Re: Difficult Airway.

For some reason, two of my posts were posted despite it being just one post but different points of editing. There are several types of anesthesia that may be used for different procedures. IV, mask, local and regional. For the last two you will likely be conscious. (if you have ever been in the roo...

Re: Difficult Airway.

Based on the frog's post, I just added OSA to the medical ID on my iPhone's Health app. This info can be accessed without unlocking the phone, so it should be accessible to EMTs when they arrive. A lot more info can fit here than on a bracelet. I did the same as well after returning from the weddin...

Re: Difficult Airway.

In september i went to a wedding and sat next to a nurse anesthesiologist. She basically does what an MD anesthesiologist does. I asked her about the significance of OSA after some back and forth. During a surgery you would typically be on your back, which as you know increases risk of apneas. So th...

Re: Can't Adjust

The SD card is for you to use should you choose to manage things on your own with the help of others here. If you’re hoping for other types of help there are many here who can help with the transition. Without an sd card you will have to ask the VA to help you manage your settings, which is limiting...

Re: Can't Adjust

I keep waking up gasping for air while using my CPAP machine. I started using my machine a few weeks ago and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I currently have the AirSense 10 Series machine, with a full face mask and my setting I believe is 5 or 6. I also have horrible allergies and breath th...

Re: Airsense 11 screen information vs AS 10

I looked through the guide and did not see an option to see this. I’m happy with the machine. It’s a little smaller than the AS10. Especially the power brick.(really light) Since I travel many times a year. Reducing weight is always good. My insurance helps pay for this and a Travel unit is not cov...
