Personally I err on the side of caution because I don't want to drop another $1100 on a machine that is hard to get.
But hey, that's just me.
(Though I did buy a less expensive used machine for backup from LSAT. Thanks LSAT.)

Re: Help: how to minimize FL's when apparent good results are achieved with AIH ?
I noticed a lot of activity on my FL line when I had a slightly stuffy nose.
Keep that in the back of your mind as well as you move forward. It might help.

Re: Advice appreciated for a newer user of CPAP(updated with OSCAR screencaps)
You changed the min from 8 to 10. Since your pressure runs from 15 to 20 all night, the change you made in the min would have no effect. I do fully plan on getting up to that 15 min pressure, I just figured I should go up a couple points of pressure at a time so I can get used to falling asleep to ...

Re: CPAP Tubing Wrap recommendations
Thank you, Lazarus! It's worth trying, especially for $9 with free shipping. I appreciate the recommendation. This way, the hose itself won't be cold, nor will it wake me up anymore with its unpleasant noise as it moves across my dresser when I toss and turn. Excellent! Any time. And you are very w...

Re: Resmed AirSense 10, N30i cushion mask. How to breathe?
Thank you all for the advice, that answered the message quite definitively. Is there a particular setting on the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset that can help with pressure breathing out the nose back into the mask? EPR or exhale pressure relief. Your settings will eventually need to be adjusted when us...

Re: Can someone help me interpret this OSCAR DATA?
I find it frustrating that from time to time (like this morning) when I haven’t had it in for a few days, I put it in to view the data and no pressure data. Really annoying because I didn’t get any error messages when I put the sd card in. I really need to pay closer attention. Haven’t figured out t...

Re: Aeroflow regrets
They will bill for EVERYTHING and there's a good chance you will have to pay out of pocket for all the fluff. Witch hazel and some cosmetic wipes add up to about $4. Fortunately they don't have a credit card on file for me, and I'm not paying for anything I didn't order. Since these are all usual a...

Re: Resmed AirSense 10, N30i cushion mask. How to breathe?
Hi all, Recently started CPAP therapy on a ResMed Airsense 10 using an N30i cushion mask. The fit is great and I’m beginning to tolerate falling to sleep at low pressure and hoping to build from here. I’m confused however about the correct breathing technique. I’ve always assumed breathing through ...

Re: Resmed AirSense 10, N30i cushion mask. How to breathe?
DS said it well. I would never sleep if i had to think about breathing out through my mouth and in thru the nose. practice keeping your tongue on your palate so that your mouth is closed from airflow. I have the n30 which is basically the same as your mask without the hoses going up the side of the ...

Re: Defective RESMED Aircurve A10 auto bipap
Excellent info sleepgeek. I wasn’t aware of this program. Most here aren't. I used it once against Apria and was extremely successful. Had a legal hearing with an excellent SHIP Atty representing me - No Charge. Admittedly I didn’t read all that they do (very sleep, sorry). do they do more than jus...
