I am certain that all this cat box "business" was in jest--
intended to find and mock any literal ninny to stop in.
SCORE!
Nope, not in jest, and with no such intention.

Nonetheless...

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime

When I say that's disgusting, I'm not talking about your compost heap, I'm talking about you pissing in a cat box in your bedroom. What else is disgusting is that you're having your wife empty your urine filled cat box. Sloshing pee in a cat box while trying to carry it outside without spilling mus...

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime

glyphosate-infused crap Chemophobe that has never been on a farm. Chemophobe, guilty as charged. Because I'm a former farm owner (Grant County, Wisconsin) and lived in farm country (rural Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Illinois) most of my life. I also lived in Chicago for six years (Uptown and Near ...

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime

I also don't need to unhook. I have an empty, large plastic cat litter box that I keep by the bed. When it gets full, my wife takes it out and recycles the nitrogen from its contents into her garden compost bin. I REALLY hope that you're joking because that's definitely disgusting, unless of course...

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime

If I drink a Diet Coke within four hours or so of going to bed, I'll be up three or four times. Otherwise, usually just once.

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth

First night with the cervical mask last night. Wow! What a difference! No dry mouth at all. Got 8 hours of good sleep. Spent much of the night on my back, which is the most comfortable position for me, but it usually drives my AHI very high. But the AHI for the night was under 0.2. I think this is t...

Re: New to CPAP - Advice from experienced users would be welcomed

ResMed enforces the "can't ship outside your country" policy on all the online sellers Imperfectly, apparently. I bought a new AirSense 11 (with an Rx) from sleeplay.com last May. When I tried to install MyAir I got the message that the serial number of my machine was not supported in the United St...

Re: Purchase a new CPAP?

I've used both the 10 and the 11. The differences are minor and mostly cosmetic. Since you're paying for this yourself, I'd go for the 10, since it's usually hundreds of dollars cheaper.

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth

Last night I used a chinstrap that I had bought but never used. The leaks were reduced, my mouth was not quite as dry, and Mr. ResMed had a green smiley face for me this morning. I'll keep using the strap until the cervical mask arrives next week. I've also ordered some mouth tape. I'm going to do s...

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth

That mask is HUGE. Try a smaller size. Yes, in the avatar, he is wearing it underneath the chin. The proper size places the bottom of the mask between the chin and lower lip. In other words, in the labiomental groove. The mask pictured in the avatar is not the one I'm having mouth-breathing/dry-mou...

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth

I'm now waking up with a very dry mouth Starting with the basics, you are breathing some through your mouth. As little as five minutes of mouth-breathing can cause a very dry mouth. Some suggestions: 1. Wear a foam cervical collar to help prevent jaw-drop. The collars also hold the neck in the opti...

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth

When I use a full face mask, my non-taped mouth only gets troublesomely dry if the mask is leaking.... Have you looked at the objective leak rate? Could it be that for some mask related reason you're leaking without being woken up by it? I mean, maybe the leak is larger but doesn't wake you up beca...
