Yep. It turned over last night and got super wet. At first the power came on but was giving me a 12 and 24 error code. Now the power comes on but the screen is blank. I am going to let it dry out. But I assume it's cooked?
I will call my DME on Monday.

Re: Final Thoughts from Billy
Something to consider--I just read Brain Energy by Christopher Palmer MD. He is a psychiatrist and in this book discusses the idea that mitochondrial dysfunction is the root of many conditions that have symptoms that overlap in the psych world. If you're interested in how mitochondria control infla...

Initially diagnosed with OSA then told I do not have it
Hey folks. I'm sure you all remember me 🙂 Hanging in there. Around a year ago I was diagnosed with sleep apnea from a home sleep study test that was a pulse oximeter. It showed I had an AHI of 21. When I had a follow-up PSG with CPAP titration they got my AHI done to three. It showed that I had obst...

Re: Final Thoughts from Billy
What caught my eye was this: "Sleep architecture was disrupted due to multiple arousals and awakenings following sleep onset." I'm still not sure how many arousals they detected, but apparently the number was high enough to mess up your sleep architecture. And it sounds as though the arousals were ...

Re: Final Thoughts from Billy
It turns out I had about half of the arousals that I had last time. I also had absolutely zero apneas. Zero obstructive. Zero rera. This was tested both of the home sleep study and in the sleep lab on the PSG.

I was off major meds for this study. How long were you off the meds? Were you taking the ones listed in the report? If not...how long had it been since you took either? How many nights prior to the sleep study did you sleep WITHOUT the cpap machine? Hi Pugsy! I was off a week prior. So with the hal...

Re: Mitigating Flow Limits
As I mentioned above, EPR can help with FLs, but you are already using an EPR of 3. You could try raising your pressure to see whether that helps, but if the problems originate in your nose, higher pressure is unlikely to help. The interior of the nose isn't flexible enough to be stented by PAP pre...

Re: I need reassurance from sleep techs (those who reside on the forum)
Do you attend/belong to any groups, whether for ALS supporters or personal therapy for depression, etc? Might want to look into those. How long has your mother been diagnosed? Hi! 1. Yes to seeing a therapist. 2. No to ALS groups Mother was diagnosed about 1 year ago. My hypersomnia and EDS started...

Re: I need reassurance from sleep techs (those who reside on the forum)
Depression doesn't mean you are crazy. Even normal people need help during extreme times. Depression can feel different at different times. (OK one day--total crap the next day) You deserve to feel better; so you should get help while it is still manageable. I for sure have the depression. Especial...
