Re: What is the lifespan of an auto CPAP machine?

Ooops, I was off by a digit... one too many zeros. Seemed a bit much.. I paid cash. My ins co wanted a copay and to make payments on it. As it was late in the year I would have been hit up with a second copay the beginning of the next year. It would have cost me plenty thru a med equip provder. I go...

Re: What is the lifespan of an auto CPAP machine?

That would be almost 60 years. My first one died after 5 years, started making funny noises. Is that possible, that long? Wow!

Thanks, it looks like a nice mask. No hard pieces. I'll see if I can find a better price, its almost double the Breeze mask.

Help with new nasal pillows/mask..

I have been using the Breeze Nasal Pillows for years. With a beard/moustache they work great. I get a good seal. Sometimes it takes a few mins of use, but no leaks. I have had the same mask for prob 1.5-2 years. I have changed hoses once, but the same pillows. I've cleaned them here and there. I rea...

Help with data from Remstar auto M

my remstar auto m w/cflex shows that my average AHI for last 7 days has been 1.7 and pressure was 8.9. My old machine was set to 7.5.

Is that AHI a good number?

well, how much smaller is it? And if there is a noise issue, what would Cpap.com do about it? Do I have to suffer from a noisey machine, return it and wait for repair? I really want to get a new machine, and not have problems. My old remstar lx was not a big deal to carry with the passover humidifie...

[quote="Anonymous"]CPAP.com is honoring Respironics wish of not advertising the M Series until the official launch date. Other websites are not honorable. CPAP.com has the M Series Auto's in stock shipping today and will match price against any competitor. Yes, I spoke to them on price match. Do you...

well, cpap.com seems to be on the ball. They are open long hours and people do answer the phone everytime you call. The other site, offered a lower price, and would read the card for me and send a report. Also if the machine went down, they would supply a loaner. Still, Cpap.com seems to be really w...
