First off thank you for the advise. This is a BIPAP machine.
So basically take the 6 down to 3, and take the 12 up to 20.
Thanks again, I will give it a try, Ken

Events.
OK, So as of lately I have been sleeping very well. Until I took the card out of my ResMed device. Well, I don't have any ideas as to the number of events that others are having ,however, I appear to be heading into uncharted horizons. My events blast off from a low of about 12 per hour and ascend a...

Re: Leaks
Hello, As to my question regarding "Leaks" I think that I have found the solution. Throwing the mask across the room did not alleviate the problem however,,, it has helped. The Velcro straps became unhinged upon impact with the ceiling fan "in motion I might add". So after a cooldown I reassembled a...

Re: Leaks
Post Oscar charts? Sorry no. I do not have the skills for this task. I am using a full face mask with a BIPAP machine. As a matter of fact Oscar tells me virtually nothing that I am not already aware of. I have been watching MYAIR. This tells me little but this is something that I am able to compreh...

Leaks
So for about the past month I have been having large air leaks around my full face mask. I had the incoming pressure set at 12, and outgoing at 6. I lowered the incoming pressure down to 8. Leaks still persists. I installed a new mask thinking that the seal may have been worn. No such luck. Still ha...

Re: Water.
First off, thank you all for the information. However here is what I have done. 1.The hose has about a 1000 ribs so the water is basically stuck inside the hose. 2.I lowered the humidity setting to level 3. 3. I raised the heat setting to 74. I prefer colder air however I will give this setting a tr...

Water.
OK so here's what's cooking. For the past two nights I have been having a gurgling sound when I inhale. Anyway last night I checked the hose and it had a fair amount of water in it. This could account for the gurgling noise. So going to the settings I have the humidity set at setting 5. As for the i...

Re: AHI readings
Does your computer have an SD Card reader? Do you have OSCAR installed on your computer? Do you have an SD Card in your CPAP machine? If the answer is yes to all three questions, remove the SD Card from your machine, insert it into the card reader on your computer, open OSCAR, click on import data....

Re: AHI readings
AHI numbers all by themselves really don't tell us much. Need to know the breakdown into each category....that's why we ask for OSCAR reports since OSCAR shows that breakdown. [/quote Pugsy, The only fly in the ointment is that I do not have the computer savvy to transfer the data from Oscar to thi...

AHI readings
Hello all. I have not made a p0st in a while however,, I have a question. I hope that I will get some answers. In the past month I have had some rather high AHI scores.11.4, 9.55, and several more in the double digit area. I have been using my machine nightly and I can honestly say that it makes ver...

Re: Sleep Apnea Short term?
Pugsy, ResMed AirFit™ N20 Mask . This is what came with the device. As to the vent holes. what you said makes perfect scents. A high pressure causing a low pressure to evacuate byproducts. However is this incoming air under pressure the same air that I am breathing in or doesn't it matter. All I can...
