Cheaper Plastic? Resmed F30i Mask
Been a CPAP F30i User for 4 years. In past years, I would change the mask (not talking about the cushion) maybe every 6 months. I think I may even have gone longer. I clean them, and felt like a waste just to throw them away. My insurance have a set schedule, so now I shorten the replacement to 3 mo...

Re: Help me read my report data
Since I can't answer "yes" to any of these questions, I don't think I know what it means. Please explain them to me so I can be better educated on understanding this.

Help me read my report data
Resmed 11. Question about pressure report. 99.5% - 15.00 95% - 14.82 Med - 12.22 Min - 5.0 Here is my setting. It starts up a 5. Then ramps up to 7. Max is at 15.00. My question is, if 95% of the time it's at 14.82, how could 99.5% of the time it be at 15.00? Shouldn't the 99.5% number be lower (tha...

Change the Time in ResMed 11 machine
Just wondering if I can change the time on my ResMed Air Sense 11? When I download the data to Sleep HQ, I notice the time is off around 2-3 hours. When I go into the menu in the machine, it said I can't change the time because the machine already have data. So it's like I need to delete the data fi...

Re: Do you use the ramp function?
I used to ramp, back when my minimum pressure was 23. You need a little ramp-up time to get strapped in for the big blow. Now that I'm down to 10 (and falling) I don't ramp any more. But there's no shame in it. Not to go OT, but you started at 23 and now at 10? Did your apnea got "better?" Or did y...

Re: What's the point of minimum pressure?
Thanks Everyone. Great points. Currently, I'm using the report my machine gives me. Resmed 11. The average they give me are based on 12 months. Just signed up with Sleep HQ and got my SD card ready. It should provide me with more info. Something else just popped into my mind, from reading above. My ...

Re: What's the point of minimum pressure?
Just for my knowledge, is "too much" pressure a bad thing? I don't mean having the machine crank up to 20, when one really need 10. The machine does auto adjust. Just wondering. If too much pressure does not cause leaks, or affect comfort level, etc. Is more pressure a bad thing? To be specific, doe...

Re: Still Waking Up Multiple Times Per Night
Just want to share this part. It took me over a year to "get used to it." I used to wake up with every turn, leaks, etc. And I wondered what this is all for. It's hard to un-learn or un-feel how you sleep at night for 50 years. Meaning with this mask right in front of your face. Now, 3-4 years in, i...

What's the point of minimum pressure?
That's not the question, I know what minimum pressure does. The Tech set my pressure range 7 to 15. Resmed 11 BTW. Looking at my report, my average is 13.6. My max is at 15 so it won't go over 15. I don't believe my machine is even in 7 range all night. Therefore do you think it's more effective to ...

Re: Eligible for a New Machine-My Dilemma
Mind if I slide in this question about the water tank of the 11. It may seem like a non-issue. When you need water, just fill it. For my use, when I fill it to the max, good for one day. For day two, still good. For day three, I have to fill it even when there is still water in the tank. For day thr...

Re: Mask leaves indent on face.
Bumping up this older thread. I tried similar pads and it then compromise the fit of my F30i. Leaks, etc. Just checking if there are other options. My skin is not as elastic as it once was, when I started using CPAP. The marks used to only visible for about one hour after I wake up. Now, at times, I...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - Average data?
The Clinical menu does not allow me to adjust the Extended Period view. It defaults to 365 days. I did see another video on AirSense 10, where you can make this adjustment, to see the averages for Day, Week, Month, etc.
There does not appear to be an adjustment for AirSense 11.

ResMed AirSense 11 - Average data?
I found where my ResMed AirSense 11 shows me the average data. The number is based on 12 months. Is there a way for me to change that? I made some changes to the min and max pressure, and I want to see my results. Ok, I can keep track of it on my own. But there is one data I want which I don't (know...
