CPAP Over-Pressurizing While I Sleep.
I have had this problem before, but it seemed to clear-up on its own. If I DID do anything to address it, I have now forgotten what it was. I am a reasonably healthy 65-year-old. I go to sleep with my Resmed AirSense 10's pressure showing "4.0". Later, I wake up with the feeling that it is trying to...

Re: Hose getting water in it while I sleep . . .
Thanks. I failed to mention that the humidifier in the CPAP operates via a heating element. Could a blown heater fuse cause this symptom? I really need the humidifier feature; if I don't use it, I dry out terribly. Also, I have used this unit for 2-3 years (with a long hose) and experienced no real ...

Hose getting water in it while I sleep . . .
I have a Resmed Airsense 10 w/humidifier. When I wake up in morning, I find that there is water in the hose.

How Do I Dry Inside My CPAP Hose After Washing?
The title pretty much says it all. I tried a heat gun that I use in my work . . . BAD idea!

Re: Phillips Respironics Dreamwear Problem
Thanks to all who replied. I have the medium headgear (measured head to order), medium nasal pillow and the latest-design strap. Those weren't the problem, as it turns out. The problem was that, after wearing the old mask with the "in-your-face" hookup, I didn't have the sense to route the hose behi...

Phillips Respironics Dreamwear Problem
I have recently purchased a Phillips Respironics Dreamwear mask. While it is vastly more comfortable than my previous Fisher & Paykel Brevida mask, I have a problem with it "slipping". I have the adjustment straps as tight as I can comfortably make them but the mask still seems to rotate forward and...

Re: Comfortable Nasal Pillow Sought
Extra-small pillows? Pillows should NOT fit inside the nostril. Cramming them all the way in is painful! Jeff might need to try a larger size. Think of your nostril riding on the upper surface like a tushy on a saddle. Thanks. Well, I guess we can file THAT under "Stuff they don't bother to tell yo...

Re: Comfortable Nasal Pillow Sought
If you want something without the nostril cones, try the Wisp nasal mask: https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/product/HC1094060/wisp-minimal-contact-nasal-mask Thanks. I think that I want to try something other than the "in your face" hose design; I am a side-sleeper . . . so a top-feed mask wou...

Re: Comfortable Nasal Pillow Sought
I'm, new here, so please bear with me. I use a humidifier-equipped ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset machine with a Fisher & Paykel Brevida mask. My problem is with the nasal pillow design. i recommend the P10 which i use. also, try lansinoh. it's used by nursing mothers to relieve sore nipples. sounds li...

Re: Cannula Irritation of My Nostril
Okay. Does anyone have a better non-surgical technique to expand a nostril opening?
By the way, I had no expectation that that technique I suggested would produce "quick" results, nor did I have any intention of inserting an object so small that could become stuck "up there".
