Re: Periodic Breathing or something else
How long is it taking you to actually fall asleep? Honestly, I don't know. I don't think it takes that long. That breathing pattern is pretty much from the time I put on the mask, I'm awake, for 30 min to an hour or so...which I assume I'm asleep...but then it just levels out. I usually have a clus...

Re: Periodic Breathing or something else
This is from a little later in the same night. Just posting an example of what I meant when I said breathing smooths out and looks more "normal".

Periodic Breathing or something else
No matter what I do with pressures or pressure support I seem to have this garbage breathing pattern for 30 min to an hour after I go to bed. Then it smooths out and looks "normal" the rest of the night except for a few arousals here and there...but the flow rate looks flat like it's supposed to. Is...

Re: Cheyne Stokes Respiration after new mask
I am more concerned that perhaps because he had so much leaking (had had hooked a neck up to both ends of the tubes so he had very high pressure due to the leaks) No, this is not the issue, leaks absolutely DO NOT cause pressure increases. If leaks are bad enough, auto machines will REDUCE pressure...

Inquiring minds
I had my at home sleep study done through Singular Sleep. They have their own sleep Dr and they also sell pap machines, masks, supplies...etc. I've always wondered if a place like that might find more "positive" results for sleep apnea through their study since they also sell the equipment. I mean h...

Re: What would cause these flow limits?
I just saw the sticky about removing old attachments right before I came back here and saw Pugsy was leading me to it anyway.
I haven't been here in a while. It might take me a minute to catch up.

What would cause these flow limits?
I've been using pap therapy for around 16 months. I've always used one FFM or another because I can't seem to keep my big mouth shut. About 4 weeks ago I switched to mouth taping and the ResMed N30i. Life has been good...until last night. I've never had high flow limits. They've always ranged from 0...

Re: Most comfortable full face mask?
It kind of depends if you want a FFM that covers your nose or a hybrid type that sits under your nose. Of course everyone is different but I have the F&P Vitera and it is comfortable but I started wearing the Dreamwear FFM and it is comfortable too. Then I picked up a F&P Evora Full and I think it i...

Re: Shallow Breather Oscar Screenshots
Shallow Breather, to be completely fair, this isn't the only apnea group out there and some of us are members of more than one. This isn't the only place you've asked about the same thing and had someone tell you to keep your stuff in one thread. As others have said, it just makes it easier when peo...

Re: OSCAR Screenshots. Don't think I've done this yet.
I don't normally pay attention to the clusters when they're at the beginning of the night or after a break. I have no idea what my real numbers are because I really don't want to put in the effort to figure them...and I'm lazy...and they don't matter that much anyway as much as how you feel. But, on...

OSCAR Screenshots. Don't think I've done this yet.
I've posted one or two things here but I don't think I've posted any of my OSCAR nights yet. I tend to have CA/OA clusters when I first go to bed...or when I get back in bed after a bathroom break. I feel like those are either positional, sleep transition apnea, sleep/wake junk or some sort of combi...

Re: YOU ALL NEED TO SEE THIS
Thanks Pugsy. Taking away your ability to see/adjust pressures is one thing...still a wrong thing...but to take away something as basic as adjusting your tube temp/humidity settings, auto-on/auto-off...probably the ramp setting too...is just way out of hand. I'm glad I turned on my airplane mode now...

YOU ALL NEED TO SEE THIS
I hope this doesn't violate forum policy by posting a link to another forum...I know some places don't like that. However, this is important for everyone to see.
