Re: Cannot sign in to "New" CPAP.com
forum friend Lazarus I make it a point to make mistakes in this forum on a regular basis in order to get plenty of practice apologizing. I find that to be a general skill I need to have ready in order for my wife to tolerate me. Usually. When I had trouble logging in to the new CPAP.com, I just gav...

Re: Tongue sores
My understanding is that effective treatment of recurring sores of the mouth generally requires direct supervision of an observant and informed medical professional. "There are many types and causes of mouth sores. Mouth sores may be caused by an infection, a bodywide (systemic) disease, a physical ...

Re: Help Me Figure This Out
Many of us have no reason to limit our Max, so we raise it to 20.
Many of us find EPR to be helpful for overall comfort and restful sleep.
Fixing sleep can help fix a lot of other stuff with our health.
I wish you all the best for your getting the best sleep possible.

Re: SoClean 3 - safe to use?
Great info, DS, that apparently was not funded or sponsored by people making money from cleaning products! The only times I have actually thoroughly cleaned mask and hose have been for the cleaning of my travel-machine mask and hose after overnight hospital stays. But then, I thoroughly cleaned pret...

Re: Quick Resmed Filter Question
I personally use third-party aftermarket bulk filters because I'm a cheapskate. If it were actually important to put the filters in with a certain side out, the manual would specify. Since it doesn't, I assume that ResMed considers them nondirectional. Still, I personally choose to put the fuzziest ...

Hold on to Hanlon's razor, one version of which is "never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by neglect, ignorance, or incompetence." A corollary states: "Most of the damage done in this world is done by people who are actually trying their best to be helpful." Thought I'd th...

Re: Scramble That Brain! (Cognitive Shuffling)
not going to work :D Well at least neither of us has any problem with overthinking things. I think the main thing is to find some way not to stare at the ceiling while contemplating possible incoming meteors or worrying about one of the grandkids taking up skydiving or something. Maybe doing the ra...

It seems to me that the world (cars, airplanes, etc.) is designed for people your height, not the nearly 6'3" monsters like me. Although I assume I might have a slight advantage over you on the basketball court.

I have found that my tirzepatide (Mounjaro) has been unable to shrink my overall height or to make my arms any shorter, though.

Scramble That Brain! (Cognitive Shuffling)
The technique: "As you’re falling asleep, . . . purposefully think of unrelated objects and items. There should be no relation between the objects or rationality explaining their link. As you continue scrambling your thoughts, your brain will effectively ‘switch off’ from trying to make any sense of...
