Damn So-Clean advertising. When I started CPAP I thought I HAD to have one of those or else I would catch a bacterial infection, flu, plague, syphilis, or worse.
I mean if you can't trust Captain Kirk, who the hell can you trust?

I don't know if mine is excessively chlorinated but if you fill up the bath tub, it has a green tinge to it. Normal?chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 10:02 amNot so with my brother--his tap water is excessively chlorinated,
which stings my throat.
Doesn't taste like a pool but maybe I am used to it.

Re: Pressure Increases w/o Events
Up front I know nothing about PR machines.
That said the RedMed Airsense manual says it adjust pressure by looking at "Flow Limit, Snore, and Apena Events".
Did you see any Flow Limit increases or Snore increases when the pressure went up?

"distilled water shortage" is only affecting people who haven't gotten the memo that *THEY DON"T NEED TO USE DISTILLED WATER* You may not NEED to use Distilled Water but I use it for sure whenever possible. When traveling I plan to use bottled water but for daily home use distilled water is the bes...

I would FIRE any doctor insisting my cpap be left at factory defaults. His JOB is helping me find an effective range for TREATMENT; not promoting my failure at using cpap. You know my prescribing doctor was / is an ENT. He prescribed factory defaults. I was in for unrelated GERD and asked for a sle...

If you are using a CPAP, you can pull the covers over your head and still breath normally!
I was surprised I did not think of that earlier.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Re: Getting Used to Nasal Masks
I think I heard somewhere before that 85% of people can use nasal masks with no issue but that leaves 15% that don't have an easy time. It was natural for me so hard to say what could help other than keeping your tongue on the top of your mouth and back. I can't talk when it is on but I know there a...

I would bet my last dollar that going the way Philips has gone is something ResMed is considering at some point. Anything to make more money is their motto. They would be giving up a great marketing position. "ResMed unlike the competition lets YOU control YOUR sleep". But then again it is not like...

Bad frog story here: Observing how well Vicks Vapo Rub works for toenail fungus, I wondered out loud whether it would work on jock itch. I was almost as sorry as the bullfrog, who heard me, and thought I was serious. Needless to say; DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME or anywhere else! It is like you are "Dar...

Challenging myself to always use it--in 12 years I only lost one night. I know, I am just entering my third month and it is like I am addicted to it now. My step father told me he and my mom left on vacation and they had to drive 3 hours back to the house because he forgot to pack the hose. I thoug...
