Re: ResMed Machine vs Breas travel CPAP
I followed the settings on my resmed CPAP to set up the Breas. (Obviously, the durable medical supply place wasn't willing to help me set this up since I didn't buy it from them.) Thanks to everyone who explained about the openings on my mask that allow carbon dioxide to be released. I need to use t...

Re: ResMed Machine vs Breas travel CPAP
I use the same mask with each machine. It is the Phillips Respironics Dreamwear silicone pillows mask. It is not leaking. It allows air to flow out via a small slit right under the "pillows" that go in my nostrils. I find that both devices work fine for me. I made the Breas match the settings of my ...

ResMed Machine vs Breas travel CPAP
I regularly use the ResMed CPAP machine which works well for me. A few years ago before a trip to the UK I bought the Breas Z2 travel CPAP which I use when traveling. I just have a question. When I use the ResMed, air is continuously flowing from the hole in the air "pillow" below the openings that ...

Re: Breas Z2 Not Blowing enough air
I think, in my desperation, I fixed it. I took the foam out of the Q-lite muffler. There are two pieces. I cut one and with the pieces around my finger, I pushed the foam back into the Q-lite. This resulted in an opening in the middle of the thing. Now the air flows much better. Not sure why it work...

Breas Z2 Not Blowing enough air
Hello I'm about to go on a trip with my Breas Z2 which I have used a few times before on trips but not for a couple of years. It turns on but the air pressure is just about non-existent. When I removed the Q-lite silencer doodad, the pressure is much higher. ?? Looking inside the Q-lite, it has foam...

Re: Very Dry Nose Using New Breas Z2 CPAP
Sorry for my slow response, I was traveling! Yes, it does work. I tried researching about the issue and could find nothing except for warnings from the manufacturer who wants us to buy a new humidifier thing every two weeks. I kid you not. I cleaned it every 4 or 5 days in a vinegar solution on my t...

After Using the Breas Z2 Travel CPAP for 2 Weeks
After getting this group's advice on travel CPAPs, I bought the Breas Z2 travel CPAP. As I posted here, I tried it one night at home using the Heat Moisture Exchanger thing which goes in the tube and I woke up in the middle of the night with my nasal passages burning. Per your advice here, I moisten...

Very Dry Nose Using New Breas Z2 CPAP
I just got a Breas Z2 CPAP for a trip I will be taking to England in the fall. I"m a 72 year old woman and really don't want to carry my current Red Med CPAP. However, I tried the Z2 last night for the first time and my nose hurt so bad in the middle of the night, I took the CPAP off. The inside of ...

Re: Buying a Travel CPAP
Never mind: I found how to look at the settings on my machine. Press: Home button and big round button at same time for 3 seconds.

Re: Buying a Travel CPAP
Thanks for your response. Do the settings need to match those of my home machine? If so, how do I find what my home machine's settings are? I looked at all the display options. Thanks!

Buying a Travel CPAP
I have now searched the forum about travel CPAP machines. I have a few questions that I don't see answered. One is will I need a new prescription? Does the travel CPAP have to be set up by professionals? My current CPAP provider said they don't sell them and won't set one up for me. I currently use ...
