CPAP is causing a subtle, but significant, change in my energy levels. I hope that is the case. Or at least doing my heart some good. I guess the thing that will be hard is that I didn't feel like I had low energy levels before. Like I've mentioned before, I had no daytime symptoms, my oral surgeon...

Thanks for the reply. My pressure setting was originally 12cm, then it was lowered to 10cm, then back 12cm, now it's at 13cm. So you're thinking that using the CPAP is causing my oxygen level to drop? Like I said, I don't wake up completely exhausted anymore, but I don't see where this is any better...

Wondering about the benefit

I've been using my CPAP for about 2 1/2 months now. I have only skipped about 4 nights during this time. Before the CPAP I would fall asleep within minutes of going to bed and sleep through the night. I was not drowsy during the day and basically had no daytime symptoms. When I first started with th...

Well last night was better for me. My pressure was adjusted from 12 down to 10. I'm not sure of the benefits yet. My wife said that I snored pretty steady through the night. I felt more normal today though.

Gosh, I'll have to see if I can guess what the key combination is . . . .

Maybe I'll try this one more night and see what happens.

New to all of this . . . .

I am a real newbie at all of this. I didn't have any "daytime" symptoms of sleep apnea. I normally fall asleep within 15 minutes of going to bed and don't wake up (that I know of) until the alarm goes off. I don't feel tired during the day, I don't fall asleep in meetings, etc. I had a sleep study d...

Congratulations! I'm jealous. I am having the opposite results. I have only been on the CPAP for 3 nights. So far it is very disappointing. I am completely exhausted and can hardly think straight. Before the CPAP, I never had these problems. I woke up fine, and was not tired during the day. I hope t...
