GETTING USED TO CHANGE

I didn't expect the little things like my cat usually falls asleep with me tucked up under my chin, Not anymore. I am excited to finally get good sleep. I am positive I will follow thru. I just didn't expect some of the lil changes. She is unsure of the whole new contraption on he mommy.

The cat will get used to it. mine actually likes to stick his nose into the "wind". I sleep with a cat and a dog.

My Hattie sleeps further down the bed with me now. She does not like the air that comes out of the mask.
If I forget to fill the food dish before bedtime she is not afraid to put her nose in my face to tell me to get up and feed her.
Apparently, she is hungry enough nothing stops her.

It is a change, but every adjusts including our fur babies.

My nervous dog adjusted too. Just took a bit of time. My other one comes to bed, checks my face to see if my mask is on, then curls up.

Thanks guys! Is getting better. She actually came up and head butted me across the forehead piece yesterday letting me know that she is cool with it. I guess it is more me than her. But that is getting better too. My guy is even being extremely supportive too which has been a world of help. I will add the info parts of my machine soon. I know its a respironics APAP and I have an Amara face mask with silicone around the face edge. Thanks!

My cats took about 2 weeks to return to their normal spots. They did sniff at the mask a few times at first. They got used to it. They do tend to avoid the actual vented airstream. But they don't get upset if I move around and the airstream happens to hit them for a moment.

And I can call them while wearing a full face mask, and they still hear me well enough to come.
