resporonics Bpap AutoSV Advance

Post by Jaz1943 » Sun Mar 16, 2014 11:25 am

I have just been upgraded to the Auto Bipap machine above. With my old manual bipap SleepHead software was able to provide reports but now won't read the data on the SD card from the AutoBipap machine. Can someone recommend or provide a link to software that can?

Thank you
Jazz

SUCCESS!!!
After working for about 6 hours I was finally able to install Encore Pro2. Now I need help on how to import my data into it.

Here's what it took. I tried downloading the database recommended but it didn't work. I then downloaded VM and installed it. I then loaded an old copy of Windows XP SP1 that i had laying around and tried to install EP2. It said I needed Windows XP SP2 so I downloaded that and installed it on my virtual drive. I then tried to reinstall EP2 and it aborted and said I needed to install Windows Installer V4.5 and Net Framework V3.5 SP1. I did that and, holly mollie, I was able to install EP2. I changed the password and set it to expire in 0 days(0 means the password will never expire) in the EP Settings so now I've got EP2 running but It doesn't see my card reader so I copied the P-Series to my VM desktop but EP2 doesn't recognize it so I need help reference that.

All the Best
Jazz

I'm glad you got the virtual machine method to work. I had a later version on XP Pro on my CD and I only had to update a few things, including net framework. Is your card reader built in to the computer or is it an external plug-in usb dongle? If built-in, this may be a bit of a problem with the virtual machine. Have you tried unmounting it within W8 and then remounting it within XP? If you have too much trouble getting the built-in to work, I highly recommend getting one of these external ones from Walmart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Targus-USB-2. ... r/16617535 . It's cheap and it's a usb device. You then can unmount it, remove it, and reinsert it when in XP so XP sees it. Then in Encore you only have to assign the card to you as the patient assigned to the card. Good luck.
