Hi everybody,
I have a Autoset S9 with the humidifier and a swift FX mask with it, the thing is that everynight I have a whistling one my mask that it's kind of annoying for me and for my girlfriend.
Does anyone knows how to remedy this?

Mightn't it be a good idea to mention the name of the mask? And from where it's whistling? And whether it whistles all the time or only on certain occasions?
Re: stop the whistling
whistling is caused by air escaping and something restricting itRobGomSal wrote:Hi everybody,

most likely one of the exhaust holes is partially clogged by saliva or something
use a toothpick to poke thru each exhaust hole as the restriction may not be readily visible

Re: stop the whistling
I had to switch masks. The Mirage FX whistled like crazy and woke me up when the pressure would go up. I think the whistling might be due to the mask being so light. A heavier mask helped. I'm using the Mirage Softgel now.

For what it's worth, I've always found that my Activa LT mask will whistly if I have the humidity set too high. The moisture condenses and collects in the mask's exhaust ports. You can temporarily stop the whistle by wiping the exhaust port with a tissue or cloth, but it will just start whistling again in a few minutes. The ONLY solution that I've found is to turn down the humidity a notch or two. This solution has never been a problem for me because humidity that's condensing in the mask is of no use to me, anyway.
If your mask is whistling from the exhaust port, try turning down your humidity level. That might be your solution!

I'm workin' on it.
