I'm recently diagnosed. I haven't gotten my machine or ask yet. But I'm looking for advice on masks. I know the machine will be either the S9 or PRS1.
I have a severe deviated septum that prevents me from breathing much through my nose and also is quite painful to even wear glasses on the bridge of my nose, so I'm concerned looking at most of the masks available. I know I need reconstructive surgery, but I won't be able to get it for a while while I deal with other medical issues.
I go in for my machine and mask in about 10 days. I've been eyeing the LifeFit, but I thought I'd ask for advice first before going in. I just need a mask that allows for mouth breathing and does not create pressure on the bridge of the nose.
Any recommendations?

Re: Mask advice
Nasal pillow masks only touch the area around the nares (nostrils).

Total face masks seal around the perimeter of the face. They cover
the eyes and seal across the forehead.

The new TapPap mask uses a boil-and-bite tray to stabilize the mask using the upper teeth.

All of these mask types do not touch the bridge of the nose.

Re: Mask advice
Thanks for the reply Jeff. It looks like the total face mask may be my only option since I can't really breath through my nose right now. It just looks so bulky.

Re: Mask advice
My FF Quattro FX doesn't touch my nose at all. It has straps that go around my temple and another pair that go across my jowls. On Sunday I'll observe the third month since I've been wearing it all night. I have no complaints whatsoever with anything about the mask except its tendency to ride up on my mug. My wife ended that by fabricating a gentle strap that links the mandibular bands below my chin.
