1st week numbers

Post by johnmtaylor » Sat Apr 27, 2013 11:45 am

This has been my 1st week on ASV.
I only have the averages off my machine.
Started with a sleep study AHI of 81

7 day avg now
AHI 7.8
PS 1.7
90%3p& P 11.3

Anyone care to interpret these results?

81 down to 7.8 sounds like a good start. If you could get some software and post some screen shots there are people here who can possibly help you to bring it down more. Also, go into your profile and add your equipment set up so people can help you.
Good luck...

ASV machines typically take a longer adjustment period than regular cpap/apap machines.

How are you feeling and sleeping?

The numbers off the machine's LCD screen are very limited. Using the software you get a lot more detail.
EncoreGuide link this will show you examples of what you will see.

SleepyHead software will work with some PR S1 ASV models (950/960) and not others. We don't know why.
I have SleepyHead links in my signature line.
If you model is the 60 series with heated hose (model 960 and the number is on a sticker on the bottom of the blower) you will also need the Patch file.

For Encore software..send me a private message and tell me what Windows version you are using on your computer. If Windows 8 we have to go about things a bit differently.

I'm sleeping better and have more energy. My wife doesn't seem to be sleeping well but she may be adjusting also.
I have a follow up appointment with my doctor in a month but I would like to have more info on my treatment.

Thanks for the help so far.

What other equipment should I post?
