Navigation Pane in ResScan

Post by StuUnderPressure » Thu Jan 24, 2013 10:36 am

Do any of you use the graphs in the Navigation Pane in ResScan?

Or do you just use the detailed graphs?

What are the uses of the graphs in the Navigation Pane?

Re: Navagation Pane in ResScan

If you mean Navigation pane (not Navagation) then I use it to see my respiration waves. Notice that the time frame is 0ne to Five minutes:

Checking my Central Apnea:

The following is a way (on the lower pane) to check if you have Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR):

Checking my Obstructive Apnea:

Why not just do all of that in the Detailed Graphs?

Does using the Navigation Pane AND the Detailed Graphs Pane at the same time have any benefits?

You can look at two different time scales at the same time. For example, you might have the Navigation Pane showing 8 hours while the detail pane shows 5 minutes. You can select an event in the navigation pane and then see the 5 minutes surrounding the event in the detail pane. It allows you to "navigate" to different events and see them in an expanded view.

THANKS - That is exactly the guidance I was looking for !

Are the graphs in the Navigation Pane the same detailed graphs that are in the Detail Pane?

You can choose which and how many variables are displayed in each. If you had the same variable selected for each, it would be the same except for the time scale. The number and type of variables available may vary with the type of machine in use, i.e. S8, S9, etc.

To choose the graphs for the navigation and detail panes, use the radio button with the picture of a graph on it just below "Device Log" to the right of the "serial number" in the header as shown in AVI's snip below.
To change the units, minimums, and maximums for each variable use "options" under "Tools" of the toolbar. To change the size of the graphs, click and drag the bottoms at the left side up or down.
