Anyone know how to open up the Clinical settings on RESMED S9?
Also, anyone use the RESMED Gecko Nasal Pad? Last night was the first night with out. I LIKE

The provider/clinical manual has instructions for getting to the clinical menu settings.
Do you have it? If not you can request it here..scroll down to the bottom of the page for instructions on how to request it via email attachment.
The S9 Elite and Autoset are combined in one manual.http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htm
For short online instructions with pictures this will explain.http://www.apneaboard.com/ResMed/ResMed ... Setup.html

I have no experience with the gel nose pad thing. I have always used nasal pillow type of mask.
There are some members here who have used it. I think you will find that some love it and some hate it. This is quite common with any cpap accessory. They all come with a YMMV (you mileage may vary) sticker. What works well for someone might be a horrible thing for another. This YMMV sticker is pretty much on everything from humidifier use and settings down to any of the various comfort accessories. Mask fit and leaks are the hardest part of this therapy to get managed well.

Yes. For the past couple of months I have used it every night and I am extremely satisfied. It totally solved the problem I had with irritation of the bridge of my nose.
So, Pusgy, I guess I got very good mileage.Pugsy wrote:They all come with a YMMV (you mileage may vary) sticker. What works well for someone might be a horrible thing for another.

Yea it varies on the divit on the bridge of my nose. Been good to me so far.
Re: RESMED S9 Elite
The Gecko pad prevents the severe red marks on the nose bridge that last until the afternoon. The pad is too large even though I bought a small size and seems to cause increased leakage. Do you think this pad will stay down if I trim it to size and cause less leakage?
